Kazuhisa Shimazu is the second oldest of the four Shimazu Brothers. He is the most energetic of the four, and easily charms women with his boyish enthusiasm and handsome looks. He also seems to be the least well-mannered of his brothers, occasionally cracking crass jokes, though he also proves himself to be quite intelligent, as he manages to match wits with renowned tactician Naoe Ai.
Like his brothers, he is deeply in love with Kurohime, and will drop anything to protect her, including joining forces with Xavier or defecting to Oda's army.
If recruited, he will fall in love with Naoe Ai and attempt to court her, which will either result in the two becoming a couple and combining units or Ai rejecting him in favor of Rance.
Trivia[]
- Real world reference: Shimazu Yoshihiro / 島津義弘. Only he has a fictitious name in the Shimazu four brothers.
- He is the last of the Shimazu brothers to die in True Route, though it is possible to finish the route without him dying if done quickly enough.
- Of his brothers, he appears to be the closest with Shimazu Iehisa, who he refers to as his "adorable youngest brother" and who describes him as "super cool".
- Interestingly, he is a muscular warrior who wields a spear, the preferred weapon of foot soldiers, while his older brother Shimazu Yoshihisa is a lean foot soldier who wields a katana, the preferred weapon of warrior's. Whether they were initially meant to be opposite classes is unknown.
