Objectives are Rance's goals to achieve. They are not required to clear the game, but completing an objective rewards you with score points.

Defeat Orochi Edit

  • See Natori and Tamagushi Fuuka's character clear steps (linked) for a guide on unlocking the dungeon.
  • Check the page, Dungeon, for details on the dungeon itself.
  • 10 points for completion.
  • Cannot be completed in Kenshin's route.

Obtain Character Clears Edit

  • 2 points per character clear.
  • If you lose the character cleared commander, the points become invalid.

Defeat the Youkai King Edit

H 300 People Edit

  • 10 points for completion.

Tips for completion, including an almost exhaustive list of ways to add new entries to the diary:

  • Rance's diary is updated immediately if you check the prison. Otherwise, it does not update until a new turn starts. Use this fact to make it less tedious to save scum for higher H numbers; this works particularly well for non-battle events such as levying.
  • The game starts with 5 entries in the diary, including Sill.
  • Increases by 0-6 for imposing a levy on a conquered province. The probabilities of each outcome are as follows:
    • Both 0 girls and 6 girls have an equal probability: 1 in 64 (1.5%)
    • Both 1 girl and 5 girls have an equal probability: 6 in 64 (9.4%)
    • Both 2 girls and 4 girls have an equal probability: 15 in 64 (23%)
    • 3 girls has a probability of 20 in 64 (31%).
  • Increases by 6 each for H-ing Nekohime, Nonohime, and Iwashihime. These one-off events happen when conquering a province without a higher priority event taking place, meaning that they will usually only trigger for non-final provinces. Requires Sill and Kouhime.
  • Increases by 10 for "Oppress the Tenshi sect to get money" purple command. This is available after Nobunaga moves to Honnouji, but cannot be done more than once or if a war with them has started.
  • Increases by 5 in an Isoroku route start of turn event where Sill is sweeping in front of the entrance and mentions that Rance did not come home last night.
  • Increases by 4 whenever the Isoroku route event "♂♀Tonight's sex party (Increase satisfaction point)" is chosen. If this event triggers as a start of turn event, the increase has a 25% chance of being 2, a 50% chance of being 3, and a 25% chance of being 4.
  • Increases by 20 for closing Shikoku's gate.
  • Increases by 4-6 for vassalizing any house without using the Emperor's Power. Each outcome from 4 to 6 is equally likely.
  • Increases by 4 for "Tease Tokugawa Ieyasu" purple command. This event is available while Tokugawa is vassalized.
  • Increases by 10 for "Go to Tokugawa for ero" purple command. Requires Tokugawa vassalized and having seen the "Tease Tokugawa Ieyasu" and "Steal heirloom from Tokugawa Ieyasu" purple events.
  • Increases by 3 when Seigan obtains the skill Triplets.
  • Generally increases by 1 whenever a specific girl is first H-ed. For example:
    • Many female character clears. This includes female generics of the correct age category (not very old or very young), but not bonus commanders or commanders in the Clear Game Report.
    • Many conquers. To prevent double counting, these are listed further down.
    • Capturing any of the youkai wives (not including Omachi).
    • Increases by 1 when Rance first wins the the bukkake game in Kyo's dungeon.
    • Increases by 1 for defeating each shogun.
    • Increases by 1 if the girl who falls over is H-ed to start a war with the Houjou House.
    • Increases by 1 after doing the "Tebasaki Ranch: Hit on Mokko" event. Note that this is not the event "Tebasaki Ranch: Sex with Mokko".
    • Increases by 1 when Rance attempts to H Keikoku, but gets Gakuha instead (Isoroku route).
  • Increases by 1 if the player ends a turn without using all of their fans.
  • Increases when winning offensive battles in enemy territory according to the following rules:
    • If Rance participated in the battle against a house that is not the Demon Army or the One Eyed house and after the battle, the province is:
      • conquered, add 2-9 entries. If the battle was fought against Mikos, Tenshi or Houjou, add one more entry. The probabilities for the 2-9 range of values are as follows:
        • 2 - 3.4%
        • 3 - 11.7%
        • 4 - 18.4%
        • 5 - 19.7%
        • 6 - 19.9%
        • 7 - 16.7%
        • 8 - 8.4%
        • 9 - 1.7%
      • not conquered, add 0-3 entries. If the battle was fought against the Miko Institute, Tenshi Sect or Houjou House, add 1 entry with probability a half. The probabilities for the 0-3 range of values are as follows:
        • 0 - 4 in 18 (22.2%)
        • 1 - 8 in 18 (44.4%)
        • 2 - 5 in 18 (27.7%)
        • 3 - 1 in 18 (5.55%)
    • If the house is defeated after the battle (independent of Rance's participation), add 2 entries. Also add:
      • 21, if the house is the Miko Institute
      • 5, if the house is Houjou
      • 8, if the house is Uesugi
      • 2, if the house is Ashikaga
      • 2, if the house is Iga and Suzume was present to trigger the H-scene
      • 1, if the house is Akashi or Asai-Asakura
      • 1, if the house is Hara, Tokugawa, Mouri, Tenshi, or Imagawa, if Akihime, SenhimeYamanaka Kojika, Manmaru, or Anko's H-scenes are seen.

How to get 300 ero diary entries without using levies:Edit

In a KTM run, the player will usually have the following entries:

  • Mikos defeated: +21 +1
  • Houjou defeated: +1 +1 +1 +5
  • Uesugi defeated: +8
  • Tenshi defeated: +1 +2
  • Akashi,Asai-Asakura,Hara,Tokugawa defeated: +1 +1 +1 +1 +1
  • 16 Houses defeated: +32
  • Commanders cleared (29 - (males & cleargame report generics)): +20
  • Other females (Kaguyahime, Sill, Noir, Orime, Fuuka): +5
  • Princesses: +6 +6 +6
  • Entries at the start of the game: +4

This makes 125 entries. The other 175 entries have to come from Rance participating in battles. There are 31 territories. Subtracting Yamato, Owari, Ezo and Moshu, we are left with 27 (less, if we vassal) offensive battles (assuming we let battle permits do most of the work). This means, that on average we have to get 6.5 diary entries per battle.

The probabilities of adding 2 / 3 / 4 / 5 / 6 / 7 / 8 / 9 entries, are 3% / 12% / 18% / 20% / 20% / 17% / 8% / 2%. The average value is therefore 5.3, which is insufficient to achieve 300 entries without levies. If we reload every time we get less than 6 entries (which will be 53% of the time), we will get 6.8 entries on average.

Note that this number is to be taken without adding bonus entries from Miko Institute etc. To increase the probability of reaching 300 entries without levies even further, we can increase this threshold in the case of easy battles like conquering the first province of Uesugi with only Rance etc.

Note: In the Mangagamer version as of patch 1.05, generic commanders either won't enter the ero diary when cleared, or their names will be removed after a while due to an unknown bug. This means, that you might have to spend an additional turn to collect levies to make up for the missing entries.

Obtain the Six Great Treasures Edit

  • This can only be completed in second games.
  • 10 points for completion. The red collection box marks your progress, and each treasure is marked with a black star.
  • After you collect them all, there will be a beginning-of-turn scene with 3G telling you about the treasures, and 10 points will be added to your game score.
  1. No-shield 盾無し — Found by developing Kai 's National Power once. Takeda house must have fallen.
  2. Echizen Crab 越前ガニ — Found by developing Sado's National Power once. Uesugi house must have fallen.
  3. Giant Pearl 巨大真珠 — Found by clearing the Pearl Dungeon in Ise twice. Requires Sill.
  4. Hiragumo 平蜘蛛 — Do Inukai's event. Requires Kouhime.
  5. Coke Bottle コーラの瓶 — Let Shimazu House/Demon Army reclaim one province in Africa.
  6. Golden Seal 金印 — Fight wild boars (botan), and get a total of 60 points. Sado's hunts, which require Kenshin and Ai, give 20 points while Owari's hunts, which require Kouhime, give 10. Keep track of the points yourself; the game doesn't show them.

Obtain 30,000 Troops Edit

  • 10 points for completion.
  • Use "Draft Paper" on effective, but expensive units; doing so saves money in the long-run. "Draft Paper" can be repeatedly obtained in Kazusa 2000. The cost increases by 10 per search, until reaching 99.
  • Increase troop size of the cheapest units first.
  • Save money by getting the discount coupon in Izumo.
  • Use Satisfaction bonuses to increase all units by 50 troops each. If you have 30 commanders, this essentially gives 1,500 troops.
  • Save 60 Ogre Bones, and buy "Captain Defense Team" at Ise. "Miko Assault Team" is also recommended.
  • Hire several Miko units possessing the skill Propaganda Effect. Then deploy one in every battle.
  • Consider using more Foot Soldiers and Archers. These units gain troops quickly.
  • Build academies in Yamato, Tamba, Mamushi Oil Field, and Edo to give 5 troops (to a specific class) every turn. Respectively, the academies are for Ninja, Musketeers, Foot Soldiers, and Diviners.
  • Hakkin Dasan has events in Kazusa 2000 which give 500 troops to his unit. The first time it is done, it will be available again four turns later, and from the second time onwards, it will be available 8 turns after it has last been done.
  • Daidouji Komatsu's skill gives her 20 troops per turn.
  • Popularity Staff adds 20 troops per turn to the equipped unit. Rance's Love and Brute Photo can also be abused by picking the +100 troops bonus on every power-up.
  • Agireda has events to raise her unit by 1000 troops.
  • Troop raising items: "Uesugi Assault Team", "Captain Defense Team", "Cavalry Assault Team" and "Miko Assault Team".
  • Alternatively, prepare a (non-footsoldier) 2700 troop unit. This is easily achieved by raising archers, equipping troop-raising items, or doing Ryouma's troop merge event. Next, recruit Hakkin Dasan for about 6300 troops. Then, after selling the 2700 troops, recruit Kentou Kanami for 9999 troops; sell Hakkin Dasan's troops now. All non-prison recruits will now join with 9999 troops. Troop scaling's base value is limited to 800 until Turn 40, so this only works afterwards.
