The Roshtoll Kingdom is a major nation famous for magic. It has a national Mage Academy for the training of new mages, and a Magic Association that oversees all the mages of the kingdom.
Mages and Knights of the Roshtoll Kingdom traditionally dislike each other. As mages are produced by rigorous testing and education, they often look down on the hereditary knights, which can be inherited by any idiot with the right parents. On the other hand, the knights feel they are the ones physically defending the country from harm with their blood, when the mages just sit in the back playing with their books and wands.
