About[]

Ouji-sama Lv2 is an RPG game made by Alice Blue, a subsidiary of Alice Soft. This was their fifth released project.

Story[]

Sometime after the events of Ouji-sama 1 month after, Canaan and Celeste are summoned to the office of First Prince Lignum.

He brought up an old friend of his who once came to study botany in the kingdom. He also mentioned where he came from, the rural city of Hirai Nagao of which he's now the mayor.

A few days ago, the town of Hirai Nagao was hit by a sudden earthquake. It seemed that the tree roots running under the city started to expand abnormally and causes ancient ruins to rise up overnight.

Lignum received a request for help with the investigation from a messenger.
After he told this to Canaan and Celeste, he told them they were being sent to help.

Gameplay[]

Most aspects of the game are similar to its predecessor, however there are some key differences
The dungeon is now seen from an isometric perspective and enemies, items/chests or NPCs appear on the map.
Time is still limited. You have a hunger meter which runs down every two steps, after a battle or when running into harapeko-kun.
You can run into special snacks in the dungeon which replenish your meter by a bit. They do not respawn in this game however.
When it runs out, you get whisked out of the dungeon. You can still do things in town before you decide to sleep.
Quests are done away with, though side quests still exist. None of these are noted down as they were in the previous game.

Equipment is store bought, but some equipment can be found in the dungeon. Equipment enhancement is now done by the Blacksmith God which appears at random after a battle and allows you to pick a stat to upgrade for one piece of equipment.
Skills are also equipped and you are limited to 6 per character. These are also bought or found in the dungeon's various skill chests or through sidequests.
Battles are mostly similar, you have two characters to control with a possible 3rd AI party member as help (boy monsters, event characters or spy Ito).
The major changes are that you can fight up to 3 enemies at the same time and that the game now has status ailments.
You pick one of your 6 equipped skills to attack, most strong moves use stamina so resting or using items might be needed.
