About

A wanderer who has shunned the comforts of society. He is found camping in the desert wilderness of Lancelot alongside his travel partner Beauty. Aster's group continue to run into the pair throughout their travels, assisting them with various tasks. He is found suffering from memory loss, but starts to recover bits and pieces as they draw closer to the continent of Central.

It is only upon reaching Central that the group learns who he really is: the once-missing emperor Viaries. During the Arthur tragedy, Prince Felton, who had sided with Snake Crest, robbed Viaries of his memories, seized Battleship Digamma, and left him for dead in the deserts of Lancelot. It was only after meeting Aster that he started making his way back to Central, and then only after overhearing the various transmissions between Aster and King Louin through his piece of the communication bracelet that he began to finally remember who he was and what had really happened. With his new allies and his newly-remembered allies, Viaries was able to retake his empire from within.

He and Beauty later married.

Personality and Appearance

Guilty's original personality is hard to guess at, though it was clear he was fairly good-natured and friendly.

After he lost his memory, Guilty became quite fond of his independent lifestyle, to the point where he was nearly willing to abandon Beauty when she chose to live with Haniwa, but eventually went to "rescue" her with a lecture about authenticity. Guilty is so fond of his lifestyle, in fact, that he does not seem to have changed his appearance after recovering his memories.

After recovering his memories, Guilty retook his original role with a strong sense of responsibility, quite in contrast with his personality on the road.

Abilities

While Guilty lost a great deal of his original skills when he lost his memory, he seems to have learned survival skills quite quickly, and is an acceptable cook. He also once possessed the Fishing and Tailor abilities, but he gave them to Aster.

With his memories returned, some of his original skills have been restored as well.
