The popularity poll for Rance III was held for subscribers of the Alicesoft newsletter and was divided into two categories: "Favorite Character" and "Favorite Monster". Votes were collected following the distribution of the fourth issue of the newsletter while results were revealed in the fifth. It is notable for being the first instance of an official popularity poll being held for the Rance Series.

Trivia[]
- Though their exact ranking in the poll was not stated, the characters Leila Grecni, Barres Province, Rick Addison, Hunty Kalar, and Ithere were each given honorable mentions for the number of votes they received. In particular, Rick Addison's surprising popularity relative to his minimal screentime led to the character having his backstory published alongside the poll results and an expanded role in Rance IV.
- The characters that received the fewest number of votes among candidates in the "Characters" category were Thoma Lipton, Minerva Margaret, Fletcher Modell, and Henderson Dauntless. As all of these characters were antagonists, the development team noted that their unpopularity was expected.
- The enemy type that received the fewest number of votes among candidates in the "Monsters" category was the Stone Guardian, with the development team speculating that its lack of popularity was due to its high strength making it difficult for many players to fight.
