The popularity poll for the characters of Daibanchou hosted by Alicesoft was divided into three categories: Heroines, Female Characters and Male Characters. Subscribers of the official Alicesoft newsletter were able to submit one vote for each of the three categories. Over 3,500 ballots were submitted by the end of the poll.
The results were revealed in the Daibanchou section of the Alicesoft compilation release Alice No Yakata 7. Due to the size of the "Females" and "Males" categories, only the top 19 characters in each category were displayed.
