The Empire of Japan[]

Tougou Tsuyoshi (東郷 毅)[]

CG01010

Tougou Tsuyoshi (c)アリスソフト

How to obtain: Starting admiral
Command Points: 510 (540)
Skill:

  1. "Great Art of War" (大戦術) — Increases all ally damage, in the same star field, by 10%.
  2. "Supreme Art of War" (超戦術) — Increases all ally damage, in the same star field, by 20%.
  • "Maki Aboard" (真希乗艦) — Decreases any damage received by 9,999

Growth Rate: +2%

Stats +30% (+60%) Fixed ship: Battleship Nagato (240HP, 60 radar, 240 laser, 180CP)
Stats +10% Starts with: DD-50 (45HP, 180 radar, 30 laser, 45CP)
Stats +10%
Stats +10%

Comments:

  • A powerful admiral with high command points and all-rounded bonuses. His skill and its upgrade are among the best in the game.
  • His first slot increases in effect by 30% by completing Dorothy Neumann's first event.
  • After conquering Hawaii, a new Tougou event chain appears with 2 events: one to increase his command points by 30, the second to upgrade his skill to "Supreme Art of War".
  • The skill "Maki Aboard" will only appear twice: Once on the first invasion after the event Cat Whisperer event (turn 10. at the latest), and afterwards when Tougou next invades on a turn that is a multiple of 3
    • Maki Aboard is an exceedingly useful skill, and learning how it's triggered can give you a lot of potential for a run. For example, saving it to take down the Ghost Hanny in Amazon can let you defeat this hidden boss quite early in your game. Other good options include Hawaii, Mongol, Chicago X, Washington or Indo Curry, depending on which you do earlier.
    • You can save the first Maki Aboard by not using Tougou offensively, but consider doing so as soon as possible. You can then continue to use Tougou offensively on turns that are not a multiple of 3 while saving the second Maki Aboard for a battle of your choice.

Biography: 27 years old. An admiral who has used unique tactics to attain a high victory percentage. Lost his wife Scarlett in a spaceship accident 2 years ago and is now living with his daughter maki. Studied abroad. Has many girlfriends. Likes all women, peace. Dislikes sardines

Recommended fleet formations:

Nagato
Standard battleship
Standard cruiser
Radar ship

Formation is quick and usually one of the first laser fleets to fire with large laser damage, standard battleship preferred over laser battleship due to the fact that Tougou's stat modifiers already provide enough laser damage for normal enemy generics.

Nagato
Pocket battleship
x4 aircraft carrier
Radar ship

Formation is quick and usually one of the first fleets to fire, Overall damage a bit higher than the previous formation, gives 2 shots at the enemy fleets- 1 weak air attack and 1 medium laser attack.

Scarlet Tougou (スカーレット・東郷)[]

CG01321

Scarlett Tougou (c)アリスソフト

How to obtain: Refuse the Japanification Plan. After defeating UHOS, Aeris or Gamerica, the "Red Phalanx" will start to show up. Defeat her and the "Red Phalanx" three times (with Tougou Tsuyoshi participating each time) to unlock her recruitment event.
Command Points: 480 (510)
Skill: None

Comments:

  • Considering her CP and strong bonuses right from the start, she's a very welcome powerful admiral to use on your remaining 2 conquests of the games she appears in.
  • She replaces Carol as the required character for boss battles in Ending 2

Biography: 27 years old. Tougou's wife and Maki's mother who miraculously survived a Warp Hole incident. Her maiden name is Scarlett Kiring, and Carol is her younger sister. Understanding that Tougou had brought happiness to numerous other women after she went missing, Scarlet overlooked Tougou's infidelity and, looking for the best ending, announced that she would not monopolize him. Likes: Tsuyoshi, Maki. Dislikes: Earthquakes.

CG01230

Ozawa Matsuri (c)アリスソフト

Comments:

  • An extremely fast admiral due to her first slot
  • Obtains her second slot bonus when her fifth event is completed
  • Obtains the skill Aerial Superiority in a start of turn event when carriers become available

Biography: Skilled at electronic and information warfare. Keeps the military well informed. A masochistic fujoshi that likes BL and a bit of denpa-kei. A recent boom is anthropomorphic land weapons. Likes: Ikebukuro. Dislikes: city ordinances.

Recommended fleet formations:

Radar ship
x9 aircraft carrier
x4 aircraft carrier
wisp

Formation gives the fastest and a very powerful 1 hit carrier strike force, with an extra canadian wisp fish (0 command points) for extra firepower. Can replace the x4 aircraft carrier with an x9 aircraft carrier after completing all events and obtaining 390 command points

Nagumo Keiko (南雲 圭子)[]

CG01210

Nagumo Keiko (c)アリスソフト

How to obtain: Starting admiral
Command Points: 330 (360)
Skill: "Education" (教育) — Increases experience gained by allies, in the same combat zone, by 40%.
Growth Rate: +4%

HP +10% Starts with: DD-50 (45HP, 180 radar, 30 laser, 45CP)
HP +10% Starts with: DD-50 (45HP, 180 radar, 30 laser, 45CP)
HP +10%
HP +10%

Comments:

  • Her bonuses, coupled with her growth rate, make her a strategic tank
  • "Education" makes her an extremely valuable character, worth deploying regularly
  • Despite her value mostly coming from that skill, she still has a very decent CP cap, making her easy to use in various situations

Biography: 28 Years old. A married woman who is like a big sister. Great at lightening the mood. Was promoted to admiral and is now her husbands superior officer. Surprisingly good at baking. Surprises people by slapping them on the back. Likes housework. Dislikes stiffness

Recommended fleet formations:

Missile battleship
sonar destroyer
sonar destroyer
Laser barrier ship

Fast fleet formation gives immunity to the most common used attack in the game, able to counter and destroy most missile and cannon using enemies while withstanding attacks from lasers and aircraft, ideal in M pollen situations and against the Soviets and the Dokutsu who enjoy using lasers, submarines and cannons.

Tanaka Raizou (田中 雷蔵)[]

CG01040

Tanaka Raizou (c)アリスソフト

How to obtain: Starting admiral
Command Points: 180 (330)
Skill: "Roar" (爆走) — Can move twice during Player Strategy Phase
Growth Rate: +6%

Cannon +20% Starting ship: DD-THNDR-X (30HP, 120 radar, 120 cannon, 60CP)
Cannon +20% Starting ship: DD-THNDR-X (30HP, 120 radar, 120 cannon, 60CP)
HP -60% (-20%)
HP -60% (-20%)

Comments:

  • Starts weak, but has the most growth events of any admiral, becoming a powerful cannon-based admiral, but only if you invest a lot of events on him:
    • His 2nd event increases his third slot by 40%, and gives 30 command points
    • Retia Adolf's second event increases his fourth slot by 40%
    • Coyote Mararu's 3rd event gives him 30 command points
    • Mirja's 2nd event gives him 30 command points
    • Koo Rothsch's 5th event gives him 30 command points
    • The event from building Breast Shrines three times gives him 30 command points
  • His 6% growth rate is also very high, making him a good combo to deploy with Nagumo to maximise his potential early.
  • If you haven't gotten any of his growths, consider deploying him with 2 subs and the jellyfish
  • Tanaka is a decent candidate for the Clear Love bonus

Biography: 20 years old. Wild and rough by nature. Ignores his superiors and regulations which has resulted in admonishments despite his many valorous deeds. Wants to get a girlfriend soon. Likes taking care of small turtles. Dislikes staying in the bath for a long time.

Recommended fleet formations:

Cannon destroyer
Cannon destroyer
Anti AA ship
Anti Laser ship

A universal fleet formation famed for being cheap and low in command points. Required 210 command points however so must have Raizou die once or twice in order to get an extra 30 command points. As Raizou's first 2 bonuses are extremely powerful, it is recommended he stick in this formation even if he ends up with 300 command points. At tier 3, 4 admirals with this formation accompanied by 4 submarine admirals can level the entire Gamerican galaxy without a single point of damage, interchanging the AA for missile depending on the system.

Submarine
Submarine
-
-

Japan's version of Dokutsu's Rommel. The cannon bonus makes the 2 submarines work as if they were 3. Taking advantage of the skill "Roar" allows  him to defend 2 fronts at the same time. Using submarines ensures, with the right surface fleet, that he takes no damage, allowing him to be used every turn, and nullifying the negative HP penalties of the 3rd slot (if you increase his CP enough to field a 3rd submarine).

Yamamoto Mugen (山本 無限)[]

CG01180

Yamamoto Mugen (c)アリスソフト

How to obtain: Starting admiral
Command Points: 510 (540)
Skill: "Public Peace Boost" (治安改善) — Increases the public peace of a region by 2
Growth Rate: +1%

Laser +20% Starts with: DD-50 (45HP, 180 radar, 30 laser, 45CP)
Missile +20% Starts with: DD-50 (45HP, 180 radar, 30 laser, 45CP)
Cannon +20%
No bonus

Comments:

  • Starting on turn 20, when sent to a star region in an offensive battle (does not actually have to be deployed in a field but has to have a ship equipped), he will have a random chance of a post-battle event where his health worsens. Eventually, he will die (again by random chance) and replaced by Koga Hitomi who retains his levels.
  • Yamamoto has an amazing CP maximum - only Retia, Itou-kakka and Hanny the Admiral have higher. This makes him a valuable admiral throughout the game, if only because he can easily slot in the Anemone or Prison ship and still have space to use barrier ships or to do damage.

Biography: 72 years old. A navy admiral. Due to his disease he was off active duty for a year , but returned after the battles with the Chun empire weakened the military. Wants a grandchild as cute as his nurse Koga. He occasionally slaps her rear. Likes sake, gambling. Dislikes staying in hospital and resting.

Recommended fleet formations:

Laser battleship
Missile battleship
Cannon destroyer
Radar cruiser

This formation makes use of all of Yamamoto's bonuses and gives him the highest overall fleet damage, in the beginning part of the game. As time goes on however, laser and aircraft based ships become more powerful and capable of 1 hit kills especially when the 2nd generation of radar ships come out, making this old man obsolete, however he is still able to wipe out an entire medium strengthened star system on his own if the initial strikes fail to annihilate the enemy

Koga Hitomi (古賀 ひとみ)[]

CG01191

Koga Hitomi (c)アリスソフト

How to obtain: Starting on turn 20, deploying Yamamoto Mugen to an offensive battle (does not actually have to be deployed in a field but has to have a ship equipped) will cause a post-battle event to occur, with a random chance, where he is exhausted. After occurring twice, a start of turn event will be queued where he dies and is replaced by Koga Hitomi.
Command Points: 510 (540)
Skill:

  • "Public Peace Boost" (治安改善) — Increases the public peace of a region by 2
  • "Berserk" (凶暴士) — Increases all damages by 20% (Activates a phase after taking damage and reverts to Public peace after the battle)

Growth Rate: +4%

Laser -20%
Missile -20%
Cannon -20%
No bonus

Comments:

  • Like Yamamoto, Koga is a go to for Anemone or the Prison ship since she has one of the highest CP caps in the game (tied with Lolikov and Zhukov, and only inferior to Itou Kakka, Retia and Hanny the Admiral).
  • Her bonuses are inferior to Yamamoto Mugen's, but she has the hidden "Berserk" skill in addition to Public Peace Boost. However, this skill is hard to efficiently use since taking damage means spending resources or turns for healing.
  • If you are trying to trigger Berserk another strategy is to equip Koga with the Abandoned Colony (get the ship from an event that appears starting turn 24). If you do choose to use the Abandoned Colony on Koga, consider leaving Ugaki Sakura in his 4th form, or not recruiting him at all, as his 5th form is also somewhat dependent on this ship. One advantage of using this on Koga is that she has 4 ship slots, allowing her to add a tange dog or maintenance ship, which can help with the colony's high cost repairs.
  • Koga is a decent candidate for the Love clear bonus.

Biography: 22 years old. She was Yamamoto's dedicated nurse. He noticed her hidden talents and willed her his gambling set. She is now an admiral. Her current ringtone is Cee-Io. Likes Aromatherapy. Dislikes people getting hurt.

Recommended fleet formations:

Laser battleship
Missile battleship
Cannon destroyer
Radar cruiser

This formation makes use of all of Hitomi's bonuses and gives her the highest overall fleet damage, in the beginning part of the game. As time goes on however, laser and aircraft based ships become more powerful and capable of 1 hit kills especially when the 2nd generation of radar ships come out, making this fleet obsolete, however, it still has 3 powerful attacks capable of wiping out an entire medium strengthened star system on her own, augmented by her skill of if she gets hit she becomes 20% more deadly

Shibagami (柴神)[]

CG01030

Shibagami (c)アリスソフト

How to obtain: His recruitment event is available after Mikado performs the "Kamikaze" ceremony.
Command Points: 960
Skill: Divine Miracle (神の奇跡) — Increases all damages by 30% against disasters
Growth Rate: N/A (starts at level 10)

HP +20% Fixed ship: Dog Palace (300HP, 75 radar, 240 laser, 630CP, AM1: Decreases missile damage by 300)
HP +20%
HP +20%
HP +20%

Comments:

  • His first slot is fixed with "Dog Palace," leaving only 330 command points spare.
  • If the Japanification Plan was accepted, Mikado will eventually replace him. He does not gain levels, and therefore has no growth rate
  • In the non-Japanification route, he will disappear temporarily if you complete Mikado's Fugaku recruitment. Note that any ships equipped to him will be duplicated when he leaves, as he leaves them behind and returns after Mikado's departure with a second copy.
    • The best options for this are the commemorative ships, particularly the nubobo, the colony ship, Mel's jellyfish, the stronger casablanca, Mau Mau's starting ships or Nozomi's AL3 ship (if you use Love on Nozomi)

Biography: The immortal god that has supported japan throughout the ages. He has selected each mikado somewhat arbitrarily, but has not erred in his judgement. Sometimes acts like a dog. Likes bones. Dislikes onions.

Mikado (帝)[]

CG01360

Mikado (c)アリスソフト

Mikado is unique, in that there are 2 different ways to recruit her, and her stats are quite different depending on which way is followed.

Japanification Plan (Imperial Palace)[]

How to obtain: Accept the Japanification Plan, conquer 14 regions. She will eventually replace Shibagami in a start of turn event (can be delayed by other events). If you never recruited Shibagami, she will still join.
Command Points: 960
Skill: God's Miracle (神の奇跡) — Increases all damages by 30% against disasters
Growth Rate: +4%

Stats -10% Fixed ship: Imperial Palace (300HP, 75 radar, 120 fighter, 180 laser, 630CP, AM1: missile damage -300)
Fighter +10%
HP +10%
Radar -10%

Non-Japanification (Fugaku)[]

How to obtain: Alternatively, if the Japanification Plan was refused, she temporarily replaces Shibagami following events related to manipulating the Fugaku monster (see Monster Princess Toluca's events). Joins with no experience unlike her predecessor. But you will only get to use her in combat a total of 3 times. If acquired this way she has only 1 'ship' Fugaku, which has 9000 hp and 3000 laser attack, a different skill, and a slightly different biography.
Command Points: 960
Skill: ESP - Repair 40% HP without a repair ship (non-Japanization route)
Growth Rate: +10%

Stats -30% Fixed ship: Fugaku (9,360HP, 780 radar, 3000 laser, 0CP)

Comments:

  • She begins with no experience (on the Japanization route), but has potential to be offensively better than Shibagami by levelling. And like the latter, her first slot (fixed with "Imperial Palace") leaves her with only 330 command points.
  • Mikado in non-Japanification is one of the best candidates for the clear bonus bonus Love, however she also comes with some major drawbacks...

Biography: A girl with the divine power to rule Japan. "if we work together we can create peace" is her creed and it helps keep everyone united. Told everyone to get along and it has reduced her sense of isolation. Has been very happy lately. Likes: rice and taiyaki. Dislikes: static electricity.

Recommended fleet formations:

Mikado palace
x9 Aircraft carrier
Cruiser
Radar ship

This formation gives the mikado a fast fleet that strikes twice at the enemy, the aircraft attack being more powerful than her laser attack,.

Ugaki Sakura (宇垣 さくら)[]

CG01090

Ugaki Sakura (c)アリスソフト

How to obtain: Accept the triple alliance. After the Cat Whisperer event (turn 10 as start of turn), an event will become available to recruit him.
Command Points: 360
Skill: "Frontline Diplomacy" (前線外交) — Makes a region less likely to be invaded
Growth Rate: +2%

Human (1) Mechanical arm (2) Mechanical other arm (3) Cyborg (4) Head (5)
Radar +20% HP +20% Stats +0% Laser +20% Cannon +40%
Fighter -80% Fighter -80% Stats +0% Missile +20% HP +40%
Fighter -80% Fighter -80% Fighter -80% Fighter -80% Radar -80%

Comments: His bonuses will change each time he is destroyed in an offensive battle.

  • His 3rd form gets All Stats +20% at level 10, which can be pretty decent, except that he would be pretty useless until you put quite a bit of EXP on him..
  • His 4th form has strong bonuses for a mixed damage commander, like Yamamoto
  • The awkward 5th form combination of Cannon + HP means that instead of a submarines, you should consider a DD-THNDR + Abandoned Colony + Aircraft Carrier.
    • Because the Abandoned Colony has its own set of disadvantages (not cheap to repair) and there are others who also want it (like Koga), consider freezing him at his 4th form if you don't have it.

Biography: 55 years old. Minister of foreign affairs who is proud of his W-shaped moustache. Is hard-headed and arrogant, but he is totally loyal to mikado and is willing to risk his life for his country. Likes: lovely sakura brand sake. Dislikes: bathrooms without bathtubs.

Yubari (夕張)[]

Daiteikoku-Yubari

Yubari (c)アリスソフト

How to obtain: After turn 14, if you are at war with Gamerica, an event to give Dr. Hiraga 3000 res will appear. The option disappears after a certain amount of turns (or if you invade USJ from Hawaii? Unconfirmed).
Command points: 0
Skill: AI-Controlled Ship (頭脳操艦) — 80% chance of decreasing all damages by 80%
Growth Rate: +10%

Stats +0% Fixed ship: AI-Controlled Ship Yubari (180HP, 240 radar, 240 laser, 300 cannon, 0CP)
No bonus Fixed ship (only after clear): Kashii (Skill: Great Air Defense (大防空) — Decreases fighter damage by 900)

Comments:

  • Using the "Love" clear bonus on Yubari has a unique effect. Instead of giving her the normal bonuses, it will give her +60% to her first slot. Whether this is a good use of Love or not, is another matter...
  • After maxing her level, she will gain her second slot, which is fixed with a ship providing only "Great Air Defense."
  • If defeated during an invasion after having seen the event where she talks with Tougou twice (occurs when they are sent to the same invasion), she will be removed from your navy; Carol Kiring, Dorothy Neumann, or Retia Adolf can restore her through events.
  • A great budget commander due to her 0 cost fixed ships, she also has the highest growth rate in the game, and a very strong clear bonus, if you can get it.
    • If you want to avoid her destructions, don't deploy her with Tougou. Note that her revival events will place her in Japan, no matter where she died.

Biography: A pseudo A.I created by Hiraga that acts as the brain of a battleship. Cannot be massed produced as the core uses the rare material purple hirara. Has an innocent child like mind. Likes: sortieing, riddles. Dislikes: the post perovskite phase.

Taira Eichi (平良 英知)[]

CG02460

Taira Eichi (c)アリスソフト

How to obtain: Automatically joins after accepting the Japanification Plan.
Command Points: 450
Skill: Support Squads (支援団体) — Heals 20% per turn. Stacks with other healing effects
Growth Rate: +2%

Stats +10% Starts with: BB-50 (180HP, 45 radar, 180 laser, 180CP)
Stats +10% Starts with: CL-50 (90HP, 90 radar, 90 laser, 90CP)
Stats +10% Starts with: CL-50 (90HP, 90 radar, 90 laser, 90CP)
Stats +10% Starts with: DD-50 (45HP, 180 radar, 30 laser, 45CP)

Comments:

  • He will desert after 15 turns (but this can be delayed by other start of turn events), and establish a rebellion in Manilla 2000.
  • Therefore, it is advised to refrain from giving him precious experience points others could have earned.
  • Make sure to not use him and REMOVE ALL HIS BATTLESHIPS if you do use him, as he takes all ships he's assigned with him before he deserts.
  • However, he is pretty good, with powerful bonuses, and a good skill that makes him useful as a decoy, since he heals up for free.

Biography: 29 years old. Member of the extreme right wing patriot party and an elite rear admiral. He was opposed to mikado's integration plan. His favourite temple is the golden pavillion. Likes Japanese swords. Dislikes foreigners.

No bonus Starts with: DD-50 (45HP, 180 radar, 30 laser, 45CP)

Comments:

  • Joins a few turns after Taira Eichi.
  • She will follow Taira and leave when he rebels, unless you do her first three events. If you don't want to keep her, then consider reducing her battles so she doesn't take EXP. Manilla 2000 must be retaken before she can be cleared.

Biography: 22 years old. Taira's cousin and a lieutenant commander. Taira has acted as her older brother since childhoodand has greatly influenced her. At her desk she is a proper japanese woman. Came in 2nd at the national hyakunin isshu tournament. Likes sewing. Dislikes spicy western food

Recommended fleet formation:

x9 aircraft carrier

Fast formation capable of unleashing an attack as powerful as Ozawa Matsuri's carrier fleet, after getting an extra 30 command point bonus, can change the last 2 slots to sonar destroyers for the additional ability to target submarines and having an increased radar range.

  • He's a really good admiral... he just feels like a waste to use because he does not gain levels and has no bonuses...
  • But that CP! He can make use of ultra high cost ships like the Yokozuna and the Kaneda without a character clear, or just equip aircraft carriers
  • Otherwise, you can just use him for his skill

Biography: A human treasure whose service is gifted to the navy by Mikado. He is an incredible figure, but as a result always fears assassinations. He hands out spending cash if you treat him with respect. Likes: geishas. Dislikes: assassins.

Comments:

  • EXP doesn't matter for these guys and their battle potential is fundamentally crippled.
  • Nevertheless, they are actually very useful, particularly at the start of game when you don't have options, but even later on:
    • Peacekeepers - first and foremost, their role is to sit in planets that are getting back to peace
    • Decoys - equip a comms boat and hope they take the damage instead of your main admirals in battle
    • Rebels - they can take care of rebels in a pinch
    • Aeris Warp Gate expeditions - if used with 2 cannon squadrons + AA and laser barrier, they can keep off an Aeris warp gate expedition on their own

Biographies:

  1. Togakushi - 62 years old. Promoted to vice admiral due to seniority. Is quite worldly. Often wonders why he survived despite what happened to the previous minister
  2. Ohara Katsumasa - 64 years old. A vice admiral that is picky about rules and tradition. Was convinced he was going to be the next naval minister. Hates Tougou. His daughter is going through late puberty.
  3. Suda Ipponzeoi - 55 years old. A rear admiral. "I'm a young modern man" is his catchphrase. He put it in his kendo black belt and his judo beginners belt.
  4. Kanesugi Nami - 53 years old. A rear admiral who doesn't do anything willingly. He can't fail if he doesn't try to suceed. Survived thanks to his inaction. His wife ran off to chase a young enka singer.

  • An admiral with nice bonuses and a good amount of command points however she only has 2 ship slots.
  • Best used with a laser battleship and a missile battleship but because of the low radar caused by this, her only use thus far is in the invasion of Rabaul and the battle against the formers.

Comments: Although at first glance has negative stats, these stats aren't important as long as the right ship is inserted in the correct slot, for example if he was to be a carrier admiral, then the first and second slots could be used for the 135 and 165 command point carriers, then the radar ship could fit in the 3rd slot. If he were to be used as a laser admiral, then the first 2 slots should contain the 180 battleship and the 90 cruiser, while the 3rd and 4th slots should be used for the destroyers. As a generic admiral, that you don't have to spend a lot of time trying to catch, he is the best

  • Repair is a great skill. She can be used as a decoy with a maintenance boat and Kabuki, or as a heavy with a missile battleship.

  • She always heals back to full HP after every battle and can be used multiple times in a turn
  • The SDS Heiwa (210HP; 120radar; 150laser; 90missiles; 90CP) is a ship unique to Volun Teer

Biography: 21 years old. Representative of the Japanese self-defence volunteer organization. She operates the civilian organization that provides paramilitary support without charge during defensive battles. In her free time, her schedule is filled with dates with those unfortunate men who would otherwise not be able to find a girl, but she does not allow any physical contact.

The Empire of Chun[]

Theme: utility. Other than Hanitora, Chun doesn't have any stand out admirals, but all of them provide a certain form of utility that can help a lot in early to mid game. Lin Fa and Lan Fa fall off quickly but each come with a ship to add to your collection when you're low on res. Tenten and Kakai likewise aren't great, but they have low repair cost and Kaikai's tankiness is really convenient sometimes. Hanitora, goes without saying, with the best peace stabilization skill in the game.

Hanitora (ハニトラ)[]

  • His skill "Unrest Increase" just prevents public peace from being recovered, it doesn't cause it to drop. So there is no downside in leaving him in Japan, or using him defensively in planets at peace.
  • Clearing him deletes him from your admiral list, so don't bother with his events.

Biography: Former soldier of the Chun empire who fled from the emperor's side. She's very quite because of that, sometimes when she stands in a hallway people will be startled by her. Believes she was entombed in clay with an emperor in her past life.

Gamerica Republic Admirals[]

Theme: bigger and better (and fighters). Gamerica's key admirals are all very strong, because they mostly give full customization to the player. On top of that, many of them have fighter focused bonuses, making them very strong, immediately and through the late game. They're pretty blunt in the kind of admirals they are, but they won't grow as much as UHOS and are more tedious to manage than Aeris.

As enemies, the Gamerica theme is also fighters. AA2 is a must as well as high HP.

Comments:

  • Eagle Douglas can only be cleared in Japanization route. Otherwise you cannot get his final 2 events and it is a waste of time to do his events. This is required for his +30CP.
  • His slot bonuses are very good, giving him better damage output than Koga/Zhukov or even sometimes Retia.
  • Good candidate for the Love clear bonus, since it pushes his CP into top tier territory, frees up his 4th slot, and pushes his 3 All Stat slots up, making it very efficient.
  • His starting ship Battleship Enterprise is not fixed, which is great for both his customisation and to use it on other characters.

Biography: 25 years old. Commander of the Gamerican pacific fleet. Believes in freedom and justice of Gamerica, and is fighting to end its corruption. Became a japanese admiral but is still trying to make gamerica happy. Carries a picture of Carol. Likes: sports. Dislikes: Natto.

Carol Kiring[]

How to obtain:

  1. President revolt method: Wait for the start of turn event where Douglas rescues Carol from prison. Note that this can be skipped if you conquer Washington before President Loose revolts. The next event phase you can select a new event to recruit her. This recruitment event will disappear once you conquer Gamerica.
  2. CORE method: If you invade USJ before Kanada, wait until the CORE pushes you back to Hawaii. Invade USJ before Carol's torture event occurs (time limited), this generally takes ~2 enemy phases from when CORE takes over. If you conquered USJ in time, an event will appear to recruit Carol.

Command points: 390 (420)
Skill: Large Repair - HP recovery +40%
Growth rate: +2%

Stats -10%
Fighter +10%
Laser +10%

Comments:

  • Like Retia, Carol can bring Yubari back from the junkyard when Yubari is destroyed
  • If you want to clear her events, make sure to a) delay conquering Gamerica until you do her first 3 events, b) clear her before Eagle Douglas
    • Unlock Carol's third and fifth events require sending her into combat three times
  • Carol is one of the main heroines required for clear ending 1 (but she is replaced by Scarlett for Ending 2)
  • Carol's skill stacks with repair boats, so just adding a maintenance boat to her means she'll get back to 100% health if you wait a turn. This makes her a very strong commander if you're trying to do quick runs with low res, such as Japanification+Ultimate Idol, it can also be cheap just to simply give her a Kabuki and maintenance boat, making her the perfect self-repairing decoy.

Biography: 18 years old. Daughter of the Kiring corporation, which dominates the military industrial complex. Hates Tougou but reluctantly became an admiral anyway. Enjoys working for the navy. Believes there are other blond twin tailed japanese. Likes arms, weapons. Dislikes goatees, red mufflers.

  2. CORE method: After the event where Hannah is taken captive by CORE

Growth rate: +6%

Stats -30%
Stats -30%
HP -10%
HP -10%

Comments:

  • Koo's events are very worthwhile to do:
    • Recruiting Koo is a precondition to recruiting Hannah in the CORE method
    • One of them gives Tanaka Raizou +30CP
    • Koo's clear gives them +30CP
    • The other events will first take 10k res, then give back 2.5k and later 17.5k, giving you 10k net
  • A heavily EXP dependent admiral, Koo is somewhat awkward to use. Their HP bonuses make them effective at defence early on, but since that gives less EXP than offence, it's hard to take advantage of their 390 CP and +30% all stats bonuses at level 10, which would make them a great offensive admiral.
    • Between their EXP dependence for All Stat bonuses, lack of a skill, and 360 (390) CP cap (on the higher side, but lowest of the 4 Green Grass members), Koo is the least effective of the Green Grass society members.

Biography: 21 years old. Representative of the Rosche corporation that dominates the financial sector. corporation representatives are traditionally women but he is actually a man. Comments:

  • One of the harder admirals to get
  • Hannah is a top class carrier commander, despite having no skill. Between her good CP cap and 4 slot bonuses, she an be very powerful with 1 Type 99 heavy carrier and 2 Type 94 carriers. Only Douglas, Retia and Zhukov can match her in terms of pure fighter damage.
  • However, against Aeris, you are usually likely better off with 2 Type 99 carriers and radar, while against UHOS, you might want 2 Type 99s with SNR or CR ships

Biography: 22 years old. Daughter of the Rock Conglomerate, which dominates global resources. After saving Gamerica from collapsing, Koo talked her into joining the Japanese. Very intelligent and hardworking. Solves rubik's cubes in 12 seconds. Likes: cherry pie served with vanilla ice cream. Dislikes: ignorant people who don't put in effort.

  • She's worth recruiting just for Tougou's bonus/free heal and Deganawidah and Blackhorse who are recruited through the same event. It's essentially a 4 for 1 deal. Not to mention the conditions are much easier to achieve than the other Green Grass society members.

  • His first event after recruiting him immediately gives him a +30CP bonus, so it's an efficient option to take.
  • Consider avoiding his 3rd event. Although his 3rd event will 'upgrade' his ship, the BB M-Overflow is arguably worse than the BB-Montana. It does more damage but in mixed laser+missile damage rather than just lasers, and actually has less HP and radar. (He should have listened to Hiraga...)

Growth rate: +6%

HP +40%
Attack +40%

Comments:

  • Only requires 2 events to get both the skill and command points bonus, so little investment is needed. Great "budget" admiral.
  • Can only use 2 ships but can deal very high damage with his skill anyway.
  • Because of the 50% cap, you should be aiming to station 10 female admirals with him. One good option is to station him with a whole bunch of your female generic admirals, if you've been using the prison ships. This can make good late game use of those generics who all fall off.
  • Command Points are enough to use 2 small carriers. If you clear him, you can use 2 large carriers.
  • A decent candidate for the clear bonus "Love", if not one of the best, since you can unlock 2 slots, and his second slot has an all attack bonus which is useful to boost. You should probably keep to the aircraft carriers, but you can add in some defensive ships and make use of his HP bonus as well.

Comments:

  • Frith is a very strong admiral with solid bonuses for a carrier focused admiral and a decent CP cap.
  • Her starting ship, the CV-Essex is a strong ship, particularly if you go for Gamerica early on.
  • As the game randomly chooses when to send Frith in attack against Hawaii... it can be quite a long wait, totally up to luck. (Reloading a save a couple turns before doesn't appear to have an effect on her RNG)

Biography: 24 years old. The Gamerican admiral known as the Witch of Solomon. Maneuvers based on her divining which boasts a 100% accuracy rate. A confident and talented woman. Comments:

  • Kathy's one of the best early game admirals. Unfortunately, it takes 2 events to recruit her though...
  • Despite the 2nd and 3rd slots that are always negative and the low command points, she has a powerful bonus on her first slot, and a good 4% growth rate that brings it up to 100%.
  • Once recruited, it doesn't take many events to get her "penetration" skill, which works great against Aeris, and her CP bonus, so she's an efficient admiral to do events for power ups.
  • Against UHOS, she can still pack a punch in her first slot while carrying a CR boat and even an AL2 ship in her last 2 slots

Biography: 22 years old. A rough woman who loves sex and war... but after losing to Tougou in a sex match she's changed. In order to get Tougou to hold her again she is reinventing herself. She worries about losing to her subordinates in strength. Likes: T-bone steak. Dislikes: Henachin bastards.

Recommended fleet formations:

165 Carrier
Radar ship
Clione

Another approach in late game is to ignore her ability and maximise her high attack bonus on her first ship slot with a carrier. The clione fish is a good fit for her last slot as it has a 0CP cost and low HP anyway, but can add an extra little bonus to her fighter damage.

Kuchiki Isabella[]

CG02450

Kuchiki Isabella (c)アリスソフト

How to obtain: Isabella will appear randomly when Gamerica attacks a player controlled Micronesia/Rabaul from Hawaii. Destroy her to capture. You must conquer USJ before selecting her event to recruit her. Otherwise, the event that appears for her before capturing USJ doesn't appear to have any effect (I don't believe it prevents her recruitment event, but neither does it enable it).
Command Points: 300 (330)
Skill:

  1. Fort - Damage received -50% if damage was taken that battle (remains effective in a subsequent round). (Before Events)
  2. Education (教育) - Raises Expierence points by allies in same combat zone by 40%. Must be unlocked through events.

HP +10% Starting ship: BB-Iowa (240HP, 60 radar, 240 laser, 180CP)
Cannon -30%
Fighters -70%
Fighters -70%

Comments:

  • Complete 2 events after recruiting Isabella to get her Education skill upgrade (a third event for her +30CP)
  • Her starting skill Fort can be powerful, but it's mostly just well suited to defensive battles.
  • If you're going to use Isabella in an invasion team, you should really invest in her 2 events to get Education, which... is also a dubious bonus, considering you'll already have Nagumo, and Goepe who comes later is preferable to either. But it is a great skill, and the +30CP on the subsequent event is quite welcome, considering her low cap.
  • As a result, Isabella is very much a second rate character, her BB-Iowa is not worth much either, as it's identical to a standard generation 2 battleship.

Biography: Her parents are Japanese-Gamerican immigrants. Suffered discrimination under Gamerica during the war. Now views both japan and Gamerica as home. Is furiously studying Japanese culture. Her current goal is to like dried kusaya. Likes: colorful kimonos. Dislikes: racism.

Comments:

  • David will get both his skill upgrade and his +30CP on the 2nd event after recruiting him. However, you must have Lan Fa to complete this event (she might even require a certain amount of event progression?).
  • His skill is hard to use well, and his bonuses aren't great either, while his growth rate sucks. Although 330CP isn't bad, it's nothing stand out either. Use him as a defensive extra, or if you really want, give him an aircraft carrier and anti-cold ship when fighting UHOS.
  • His redeeming bonus is the JMR-Goth ship which he comes with. It's great to get an AM2 early in your playthrough if you do Gamerica first, particularly if you are low on Tech or planet count.

Biography: 22 years old. A gamerican admiral who loves himself and is loved by women. It was so boring being a POW that he became a japanese admiral. Hasn't had many japanese girls as lovers and wonders why they don;t love him more. Likes his handsome self. Dislikes missions that make him pale

Johnny A. Nexon[]

CG01350

Johnny A. Nexon (c)アリスソフト

How to obtain: Destroy Johnny when he attacks as part of Gamerican invasion forces 2x (he will attack from Rabaul) Take over Rabaul, then do the event Capture the flat-faced admiral 平面っぽい兵士を捕獲. Next turn you have to do a 2nd event to recruit him.
Command Points: 330 (360)
Skill: A - random probability to take 10x damage from enemy attacks
Growth rate: +4%

Fighters -20%
Lasers -20%
Missiles -20%
HP +60%

Comments:

  • His first 3 slots actually have the exact same base stats and growth as Koga, but start with a fighter bonus, making them better! On top of that, he gets a high HP modifier on his 4th slot where Koga gets nothing.
  • But yeah... his skill will troll you if you try to use him.
  • As a meme character though, he's definitely worth using! Try him out! As for how to use him... decoy, fighter sub, or use him in situations where he won't get hit (with other decoys or fighter damage to take out threats early). If he does get hit... good luck!

Biography: At least according to himself, he is forever 24 (and thus forever in his unlucky year...). He appears to be oblivious to the fact that he has the worst possible luck and is always raising death flags, and yet, somehow always miraculous surviving when his ships and colleagues get destroyed. His ex-girlfriend back home has already broken up with him. Likes: baseball cards. Dislikes: "simple".

Lala Manie (ララー・マニィ)[]

CG03610

Lala Manie (c)アリスソフト

How to obtain: Lala's recruitment event (it's an ero event called 'Beach babe' that does not have her picture beside it) has 2 conditions - the player has conquered Manilla 2K and destroyed Lala, and Hawaii is not under the player's control. After conquering Hawaii, it can still appear, if you let Gamerica (or another nation?) reconquer Hawaii.
Command Points: 270 (300)
Skill: Fluke (まぐれ) - Random chance to increase attack by 10%
Growth rate: +4%

HP + 30% Starts with: DD-Sumner (60HP, 240 radar, 30 laser, 180 cannon, 45CP)
HP + 30%
Lasers -50%
Missiles -50%

Comments:

  • Lala is a slightly weird admiral. She is almost like a generic, as she doesn't really have her own event line, but she does have some special events, including her recruitment event that appear under specific conditions
  • To get her CP bonus event, send her in invasions 5 times, and bring Manila 2K to peace
  • Her other event of note is that if you've cleared her (got her CP bonus) and sent her in invasions 10 times, if you fall under 10k res, she will give you 10k res
  • Lala is pretty much relegated to defence after the early game. Her skill is unreliable, her slot bonuses are useless and her CP cap is not so great either. Consider not recruiting her in games where you're trying to go quickly.

Biography: 20 years old. A bright and free-living girl from manilla 2000. Worked with the Gamerican colonial army, but she didn't really care about Gamerica so she joined the Japanese. Suffocates if she hides more than 30% of her cleavage. Likes sea cucumbers. Dislikes cold places.

Gigamacro[]

CG01241

Gigamacro (c)アリスソフト

How to obtain: After getting each of Micronesia and Rabaul, colourless events will become available in which Microlita appears. After doing these 2 events, complete the event Girl n space again before taking Hawaii (it will be blocked if you take Hawaii first). There are 2 events that can be done either before or after taking Hawaii, but final one to recruit Gigamacro requires Hawaii to be conquered.
Command Points: 0
Skill: God's Miracle 神の奇跡: + 30% attack vs. natural disasters
Growth rate: N/A (Starts at level 10)

No bonus Fixed ship: Gigamacro (900HP, 135 radar, 540 laser, 0CP)

Comments:

  • Gigamacro isn't actually related to Gamerica. He's the King of the Pacific. But he's recruited through Gamerican planets.
  • Gigamacro is a storyline more than an admiral. Microlita/Gigamacro's final event is a fully voiced ending with it's unique CGs, so it's worth seeing (though not translated in the fan patch).
  • As an admiral, he has some marginal uses in early game, or later as a defensive admiral. But he's irrelevant by late game.
  • He's a terrible reward, however, for the number of events you invest to get him. Kaikai who you can get in a single event, along with other prisoners fulfils much the same niche (high HP, low repair cost)
  • Would be interesting to test what the Love clear bonus does on him - maybe it has a unique effect?

Biography: Until around 20 years ago, he was a hearty king who ruled most of Oceania. Thanks to the power he received from his wife, who was the previous goddess of Oceania, he can turn into a titan. Biography: 26 years old. A former gamerican soldier. Has a serious personality. Prone to making mistakes even in his late 20s. Is a bit impatient. Has come to respect the forces led by Tougou. He's also become obsessed with going to noodle shops.

Comments: Her starting ship the Casablanca is 1 of only 2 you can get in the game. These might not look like much, but they are the lowest CP fighter ships in the game (other than fish) so are really valuable as an option for fighter damage for low CP. (The other one is obtained as a Washington star field bonus, and has slightly better stats, as it's a different generation.)

Biography: 26 years old. A former Gamerican soldier who is divorced. Left the military a year after getting married, then rejoined a year after getting divorced. Her former husband is in prison and she won't say what happened between them.

  • Name likely comes from American air force general Jimmy Doolittle, which is likely why she mainly uses fighters.

Soviet Human Unification Organization Admirals[]

Theme: learning/growth. UHOS has the smallest roster of inner admirals, and many of them seem lacklustre when recruited. If trained up, however, many of them can become the top admirals in the game: Goepe with EDU is something of a keystone around which you'll find the initially lacklustre, but brimming with potential Katherine and Mirja with their skill combo and high growth rates, Unagi with her damage reduction and high CP that finally shine when her negative slots even out at higher levels, and Lydia's starting mediocrity that turns into a strong submarine build. Lolikov and Ryuuko have their own thing going on with their high bonuses but 1 slot awkwardness. Fortunately, Quattro and Zhukov are exceptions to the theme, both providing a much needed immediate boost in strength when you receive them.

As enemies, however, they seem to have a theme of mixed damage and counter-tactics. Between their consistent cold weather conditions, high HP+missile or cannon combos, submarines and the very eclectic mix of clones in the final phase, it's hard to properly prepare for them, but SNR, CR, PROV and high cannon damage are probably a good start.

Katherine[]

CG04200

How to obtain: After you take over UHOS, announce 'Not guilty' during her trial.

Attack -60%

Comments:

  • Katherine has the highest growth rate in the game after Yubari. Pairing her with Goepe (or Nagumo/Isabella) to take advantage of Edu is a must if you're going to use her.
  • Particularly if you're aiming for True Endings 1 or 2, she is one of the best candidates for the "Love" clear bonus. With her clear CP bonus, this will give her 270 command points, allowing her to equip either:
    • Offensively with an x4 aircraft carrier + 2 clione fish or a clione+flying fish or
    • Defensively with up to two defensive barrier ships and 30 points still remaining.
    • In this set up, you should consider equipping Mirja with submarines
  • Note that Love will not unlock her flagship, so she cannot be used as a submarine commander.

Biography: The UHOS supreme committee chairwoman. Had power over people thanks to the red stone she wore and believed she was humanity's queen. Deeply regrets what the stone forced her to do, although she is just as obstinate as before. Likes: Pirozhki, Mirja. Dislikes: Lolicons.

Stats -30%
Stats -30%
HP -50%
HP -50%

Comments:

  • Essentially the same as Katherine but without the fixed ship. Technically, this makes her better, but as you need to use them as a pair for their skills to work, and Mirja can't be used for the Endings 1 and 2 boss fights, it's generally better to put the clear bonus "Love" on Katherine, and pair Mirja with submarines.
  • A start of turn event after seeing Mirja's 1st event will give Tanaka +30CP

Biography: Katherine's childhood friend and best friend. Isn't very fussy on the surface but is very sharp. Overall she is ultra super my pace. Recently she has been enjoying the candy shop in the navy headquarters. Unlike Katherine, she likes playing with kneading candy (mizuame). Likes: Katherine. Dislikes: Canned herring.

Skill: Education 教育 — Increases experience gained by allies, in the same star field by +40%
Growth rate: +2%

Radar +20%
Laser +0%
Missile +0%
Cannon +0%

Comments:

  • Goepe is a solid commander and essentially functions like an improved Nagumo. She has the same skill as Nagumo, which is great, since she's meant to be used as a set with Katherine and Mirja who really need the EXP, and she has much better CP as well as slot bonuses.
  • Arguably, as her slot bonuses aren't very high, but they do afford a lot of flexibility in how you equip her.
  • Note that Goepe's 2nd event after you recruit her includes a battle, so try to give her 150 damage + AL1 or 300HP for that.

Biography: 22 years old. Chief of the soviet secret police. Brainwashed by the red stone into becoming a ruthless soldier, but originally she was a gentle school teacher. With the red stone's curse broken she's trying to make up with Katherine and Mirja. Likes studying. Dislikes: stiffness.

Lolikov Banra[]

How to obtain: After you take over Russian territory and proved Katerin's innocence, talk to him during event phase.
Command Points: 510 (540)
Skill: None
Growth rate: +2%

HP +80%

Comments:

  • Quite a unique character, he is tied with Zhukov and Yamamoto/Koga for 4th place CP, but he only has 1 ship slot for use
  • A decent candidate for the Love clear bonus, it makes Lolikov a 600CP admiral and opens up his 3 remaining slots. That being said, it's likely better to give Koga the bonus, since you'll usually have to wait a while to get Lolikov, and Koga can take better advantage of the stat bonuses. It essentially comes down to whether or not you want multiple high CP admirals, either option is worth considering.
  • Otherwise, consider equipping the super battleship Kii (or Kaneda once he's cleared) or the Yokozuna, as he is one of the very few admirals who can make use of these ultra high cost ships

Biography: Loves lolis, and thus served katherine as a mad doctor. Modified his body to look young. He's really 65 years old. His lolicon principle is to look but not touch. He's an M. Wants to see the sights at the public pool but is weak to the sun. Likes being abused by lolis. Dislikes big breasts.

Notes

  • Charged barrier allows her to be highly effective against lasers, thus being a good choice against disasters and monsters. The -50% gets applied before flat reductions, like AL2, which makes it one of the best skills in the game.
  • Her 3 negative slots might discourage use, but she's extremely effective even at low levels, because of her +10% starting slot and her amazing +6% growth rate, anti-laser defence skill and 420 CP.
    • At level 10, she is one of the best admirals in the game, with 420 CP, +70% lasers, +10% all stats on her 3 other slots and -50% laser damage
    • It only takes 3 events to get her clear and +30 CP for 450 CP
  • She even comes with a 2nd generation UHOS battleship as an added bonus
  • Because of her 3 All stat bonuses, and her high potential, she's a decent option for Love, if not the best one. This will bring her CP to 540, allowing you to equip a Kii in her laser slot with enough space left for 1 shield ship, the hurricane commemorative and the clione or whale fish

Biography: Was created and strengthened by Lolikov. Can act as a fleet commander. She is mistreated by Lolikov due to her large breasts. Likes cleaning. Dislikes charcoal (feels a sense of danger)

Ryuuko Banra[]

How to obtain: Take over Moscow, wait before taking over the Russian Plains (should happen in 1-2 turns) - you should see Big Sorge and Ryuuko fighting Colonel Akashi as a start of turn event, then you can talk to her after the incident.
Command Points: 150 (180)
Skill: Revolt Suppression - Double damage when fighting rebels
Growth Rate: +6%

Attack +90%

Comments:

  • The 1 slot makes it very hard to use her effectively. Add onto that, her skill isn't very useful.
    • Using Love on her would make a lot of sense - it helps with her CP, unlocks 3 slots and gets her a +170% all attack bonus in her first slot. She gets so much use out of it and it can make her a pretty good admiral... but it's ultimately a waste considering there are so many better candidates including 3 from UHOS (Katherine, Lolikov, Unagi)
  • But, she has an amazing slot bonus of +90% attack, growing to +150% attack at level 10... It just feels like such a waste to use her to suppress revels...
  • Your options are either to:
    1. Use her as her skill intends, letting her easily take down rebels. The best option for this is an AL1 BB class ship after you've done her events for the 180 CP, or a fighter ship
    2. Equip her with the fighter sub (doesn't require her CP bonus and gives her a form of defence) to make use of her offensively (it can be decent if you're short on good characters.... but you're really better off using option 1 most of the time)

Biography: Was created and strengthened by lolikov. Acts as a spy. Thinks it will be easy to infiltrate japan based on her looks but she makes a lot of mistakes. Likes toys, games. Dislikes difficult books.

  • Between his great first slot bonus and awesome CP, he's a very flexible and competent admiral. His CP is tied with Lolikov and Koga, the only ones with higher CP are Retia, Itou Kakka and Hanny the Admiral.
  • His starting ship is also great, packing lots of damage on top of AA1, it's just a bit expensive, so limited in use if you are taking UHOS early in the game.

Comments:

  • Despite the poor starting stats, and very average CP, she is still a very nice admiral.
  • With 3 slots of cannon damage and no fixed slot, she makes a decent submarine commander after some levels. After H-ing her you can equip all 4 of her slots with subs.
    • You can also recruit her fairly early into the game, which gives her time to grow into those cannon bonuses
  • On top of that, she comes with the Peace skill, which is always useful whether or not she's in your invasion party.
  • Although not a great ship, her starting ship has higher radar and lower cannon power than the DD-THNDR-63 of the same generation. It can be useful in niche situations where you need radar on cannons.

Biography: 18 years old. A bright and lively soviet admiral. After her red book was taken she ceased to blindly follow its principles and joined the japanese. • It's afro! You might remember his predecessor Yume's Manservant in Daiakuji, he is a staple of the Dai games. And, as always, he's really great! He's also pretty easy go get.
  • Although he only has 1 slot, it has a great bonus and he has 180 CP to spend on it. An aircraft carrier is usually the way to go, though sometimes it makes more sense to put a BB class ship (either laser or missile). You might, alternatively, take advantage of the low repair cost of his fixed ship by equipping him with a fish, such as the red whale for HP or the boss for mixed damage.

  • What a frustrating admiral... At first glance, she seems so good. Her skill would be awesome when fighting UHOS, she has all 4 slots, and her CP is towards the high end... but exp is worthless on her, even at level 10, she has an HP penalty, and you only get her after defeating almost all of UHOS, making her skill useless for anything left on the map.
  • Furthermore, Snow has a 'bad end' event. If you deploy her to North Africa, she will melt and die.
  • At least you get a decent ship from her.
  • Just leave her in the northern planets for use against rebels, warp gates, etc. (Maybe you can get some use out of her skill on Endings 1 and 2 in Chernob? Likely better to use other admirals for that though...)
  • All that being said, if you conquer UHOS before Gamerica or Aeris, she might still be a decent mid-game admiral if only because her high CP makes her decently customizable.

  • For one of the more prominent storyline characters in UHOS... this drunkard is disappointing. He has a 2% growth rate, it takes 4 events to get his +30CP, he has an all stats minus in his 4th slot that only gets to 0 at level 10 and he specializes in missiles.
  • That being said, he's not terrible - although 330CP isn't high, it's still fairly decent, and his last slot is evidently supposed to be used with a barrier ship so he can defend and launch a missile payload. Not my first choice though... Alps will outclass him in 90% of scenarios as a missile admiral, and is easier to recruit.
  • Even his starting ship is disappointing..., but it is a unique, so if you're collecting those UHOS design ships, he still gives you something.

  • Actually a pretty decent admiral, just use her 4th slot with a barrier, radar, sonar or weather ship, as needed. The other slots should just follow the bonuses. Consider a laser battleship on her to make use of her bonuses. (Still, she's a generic, use her defensively)
  • The Gorky is a pretty neat ship... the design at any rate... it's identical to the 2nd generation CL class laser ships...
  • Pirozhki is also easy to get, as you recruit her in an invasion instead of having to wait for, say Kazakhstan or Borsht, and you can get her before the white hole event pauses the UHOS invasion.

Comments:

  • This might be the only admiral in the game with negatives slot bonuses on his locked slots... weird. Perhaps he was originally meant to start with all 4?
    • As it is, the only way to make use of his potential is the Love Clear Bonus. This is actually not a terrible use, as he has 4 all stat bonuses and a damage multiplier skill. In fact, in terms of pure efficiency, Ukraine is the best Love candidate, since he can make use of all 3 aspects of Love. It just seems a bit silly to give a generic Love when he'll still be CP hungry.
  • Pretty terrible, and their ship is not any good either... I guess it makes sense they are one of the easiest generics in UHOS to capture...

Biography: 19 years old. A former Soviet soldier. Because he hates the smell of alcohol, he had trouble in the motherland. Has been acting cocky since his debut as a model in Japan.

Borscht[]

Daiteikoku-Borscht

Borscht (c)アリスソフト

How to obtain: Capturable with the prison ship when she invades Moscow from Russian Plains.
Command Points: 150 (180)
Skill: None
Growth Rate: +2%

Fighters +80% Starting ship: CVH-Minsk (90HP, 60 radar, 180 fighter, 135CP)
No bonus

Comments:

  • You get Borscht for her unique ship. She gives you 1 of only 2 UHOS aircraft carriers accessible to the player (the other is an upgraded version from Katheringrad's star field bonus). It's identical in stats to the Glorious (the Aeris carrier you get from Parapara) which means it's very strong for a 2nd generation fighter, but as a 2nd gen, it's not very relevant if you capture her late in the game.
  • As an admiral... that aircraft bonus is pretty nice, and grows to 100% but with only 2 slots and 150/180CP, she can't do very much with it and will always be very fragile. Give her 1 carrier submarine, and maybe a diving fish if you have the extra CP. Otherwise, a X4 Carrier and a barrier/sonar/radar ship as needed.

Biography: A former Soviet soldier who is single. She is considered to be cold, but its just a misconception brought about by her not being outspoken. Likes kimchi hotpots, but doesn't speak up about it. Her favorite thing is sorbet.

Comments:

  • The Gangut isn't a bad ship to have, but it is very high CP compared to other battleships. In terms of effect though, it has similar stats to a gen 5 or even 6 shield battleship, so it can be useful.
  • Otherwise... Caviar is only notable for having all 4 slots and decent CP... use her for back up defense/patrol

Biography: A former Soviet soldier who is single. As a Soviet native she slips on dry roads, but as a Soviet native who is a complete clutz, she also slips on snowy roads. Her hobby is making innovative tasting Piroshki.

Aeris Empire Admirals[]

Theme: Straightforward, elegant loyalty. The Aeris admirals' mostly have a pre-determined play style. They come with fixed ships that give them some unique trait that you really can't play around. Just go with the flow, equip them as they are meant to be, and they should be a strong force. With the exception of Eliza, all the royal family and knights come with a special fixed ship that gives them a unique play style. Goron, Mau Mau and Parapuna all fit this theme as well. The ships are unique, many of them come with a special unique perk and they're great to use as budget admirals.

As enemies, Aeris also have the traits of being focused on lasers and barriers. Aircraft are devastating against them, as well as AL2 ships.

Sarah Britain[]

Daiteikoku-Sarah-Britain

Sarah Britain (c)アリスソフト

How to obtain:

Suez Method:

  1. Capture Eliza by taking over Suez within 3 turns after taking over Arabia.
  2. Occupy every territories Aeris owns except London.
  3. Initiate Eliza's event called 「静かな拒絶」 (it may be okay to trigger this before step 2 too)
  4. Initiate important event called 「先代王エリザの申し出」 (won't appear if 「静かな拒絶」 hasn't been triggered)
  5. Capture London. Eliza will persuade Sarah to surrender (you have to beat her senseless before that though)
  6. Do an event called 「悩める元女王」and she will join you.

Warp Gate Method: Warp hell beware

  1. After taking over Arabia, wait for 3 turns, or just attack Madagascar. If you attack Madagascar, then Suez, you'll enter First Method.
  2. Attack any territory adjacent to Paris.
  3. Eliza will tell Sarah about the hidden warp gates. They will then randomly attack two of your territories ANYWHERE on the map (much like rebel events) until Aeris falls.
  4. There should be an event where Sarah's Queen Elizabeth ship collides with Togo's Nagato warship at a warp gate.
  5. After 1 turn, Sarah and Eliza will join you.

Stats +10% Fixed ship: QW-Elizabeth (360HP, 120 radar, 420 laser, 210CP, AL2: -600 laser damage)

Comments:

  • Her main ship cannot be removed even with Love, but it is already one of the best ships you can get, so this isn't really a disadvantage. AL2 is often useful, while the ship itself beats the 6th generation Sakigake, and only falls short of the Goku by 60 damage.
  • That being said, her lack of decent bonuses on her other slots and the 210CP of her fixed ship hurt her a bit... Consider taking advantage of her fixed ship's low repair cost and barriers to use her as a tank deployed with submarine admirals. Another laser ship and barrier/radar is usually the way to go. Alternatively, she can equip a couple carriers.
  • If you recruited her with the Warp Gate method, it only takes 1 event to get her +30CP, which is a nice perk

Biography: 19 years old. The 38th Queen of the Aeris empire. She'd been caught up with the duties and ideals of being a queen but hadn't realized what it truly meant to protect the people until she joined the japanese. Tougou helps relieve her stress. Likes bisque dolls. Dislikes black coffee

Eliza Britain[]

Daiteikoku-Eliza-Britain

Eliza Britain (c)アリスソフト

How to obtain:

  1. Suez method: The same as Sarah Britain's Suez method. Do her event A mother who acts when a mother should やる時にはやる母様t Eliza. Note that although you capture Eliza in Suez, you can't recruit her until after conquering London.
  2. Warp Gate method: Same as Sarah Britain's.

Skill: None
Growth rate: +2%

Fighters +10% Starting ship: Comms boat (30HP, 15CP)
Laser +10%
Missile +10%

Comments:

  • Unlike Koga, who she resembles greatly Eliza has a carrier slot bonus, which is very nice. The lack of a skill, slightly lower CP and HP negative make her no better though. Eliza is outclassed by the UHOS or Gamerican aces, but she's still a very strong admiral and one of Aeris's best.
  • And she comes with a... comms boat, never mind....

Biography: Predecessor of the current Aeris queen and mother of Sarah and Mary. Appears younger than she really is and is very shrewd. Hedonistic. After grieving her husband's passing she's been enjoying free love. Had free time so she became an admiral. Likes romantic love. Dislikes snakes

Mary Britain[]

Daiteikoku-Mary-Britain

Mary Britain (c)アリスソフト

How to obtain: After you conquer Arabia wait before conquering South Africa, until a start of turn event occurs where she is stationed there (takes two events). Then attack South Africa and destroy her.

No bonus Starting ship: DD-Javelin (75HP, 300 radar, 60 laser, 45CP)

Comments:

  • Her first four events, prerequisites for the last two events, are only available before Aeris falls.
  • If Sarah dies when Aeris falls (capture Eliza, then attack London without doing Eliza's events), she will leave after a few turns.
  • Her fixed ship makes her a rather niche admiral. It gives her high HP, decent radar and anti-fighter potential, making her a tank decent against no-CORE Gamerica in particular. One effective way to use her is to give her a PROV ship in addition to more barrier or other defensive ships (this is quite effective as a duo with Eliza who can do good damage).
  • Mary's great perk is coming with all her slots filled with Aeris ships!
    • The CV Glorious is the only fighter ship you can get from Aeris to my knowledge
    • The CL-DEF Edgar is the 3rd generation version of one of the CL-DEF Dark, which you get from Pluepet. Along with the CW Hurricane, these are the only non-BB class AL1 ships available.

Biography: Sara's bright and spirited younger sister. Has the opposite personality of her sister. Comments:

  • A very solid admiral with his CP, skill and slot bonuses. He's pretty flexible because he has all attack bonuses and the radar bonus lends itself well to barrier or sonar ships.
  • The only thing that's disappointing is that as an enemy, Victory is iconic for using barrier ships... and yet he's the only one of the main Aeris admirals whose fixed ship doesn't have a defensive skill...

Biography: An Aeris empire knight and admiral. Saw the ideals of japan and decided to join them to rectify the deep-rooted corruption in Aeris. Is usually cool, but can also be dashing. The first movie he saw was Hori Pottah. Likes: collecting antiques. Dislikes: rum.

John Lawrence[]

Comments:

  • It only takes 2 events to get his +30CP
  • Like the other Aeris admirals, he comes with a fixed ship, which is a double edged sword... on the one hand, its cost effective and useful to have sonar, on the other, it makes him less customizable.
  • His skill sounds complicated, but it's really quite simple to use. Send him into battles and he'll do more damage. In certain cases, his skill can really make a difference, so he's actually a good option for your main invasion team, particularly when facing UHOS.
  • Consider arming him with a laser battleship (a pink hippo or guppy works well in mid-game as well) and a radar or barrier ship. A low CP cost ship can take up his final slot.

Biography: An Aeris empire knight and admiral. Is serious and stiff, but is also a gentleman. Because he swore absolute loyalty to the queen, he won't allow himself to love Sarah. Tells the Japanese military women "I am going to become a monk." Likes: garden mazes. Dislikes: raw fish, raw meat.

Comments:

  • Because you must capture Eliza in Suez, Montgomery cannot be recruited on the true routes (Endings 1 or 2). You should probably be focusing on Gamerica or UHOS for those endings anyway, so he would be somewhat redundant anyway.
  • AM1 is... disappointing... at least it has laser damage and his second slot has an attack bonus...
  • Montgomery doesn't really have enough left over CP to be a late game admiral, so just keep him for defence, or use him as a decoy ship paired with Eliza.

Biography: 43 years old. An Aeris empire knight and admiral. A veteran knight who has been serving Eliza. He is also one of Eliza's boyfriends. Spends 90 minutes a day taking care of his beard and thinks that doing so is normal. Likes: taking care of his beard. Dislikes: punk rock.

Stats -10% Fixed ship: Tiger Cub (120HP, 360 radar, 180 missile, 0CP)

Comments:

  • Her 4 fixed monster ships are great fun to use, if not exactly great admiral material.
  • As it takes 6 events to get her first slot +20% upgrade... it's not advisable.
  • Clear Bonus Love will remove 3 of the 4 space monsters, but they will disappear, so it's rather pointless.
  • If you don't capture Eliza in Suez, Eliza will ask Montgomery to deploy Parupuna and you it might be possible to fight her, but only if you Eazauna has not yet been defeated (needs confirmation). If we are defeated or retreat without combat she die from the psychic strain of control a space monster too big for her power.

  • Clearing her events get you 15,000 res, a small return on paying her debt. It takes 5 events to do it though and the events can't be done immediately after one another... (with 3 H scenes, she's also one of the girls with the most content)
  • Clione is pretty good. She comes with high CP and no fixed ship. Don't worry too much about the negative slots 3 and 4, just use those for skills like anti-sandstorm or anti-cold, or sonar or barriers, etc.
    • Still, it's hard not to compare Clione to Rasshara who you can get even earlier. Rasshara fulfils much the same niche (high CP) and doesn't have the negative slots, so is more customizable. Still, Clione is strong, and can use aircraft carriers in late game.

Biography: President of the East India company. Struggling to return the money she owes Tougou for saving her from being sold. Is currently planning to make and sell Mikado-chan merchandise to the European star systems. Likes: effectively bathing her skin. Dislikes: Japanese salary comics.

How to obtain: You must conquer Arabia with less than 10,000 res, and you must not destroy him in the invasion. He is mutually exclusive with Clione. Because of the res requirement, you must also ignore the starfield bonus during that gives 10k res during the invasion.
Command Points: 90

Comments:

  • As you progress his events, he will transform into a girl. He should also get his upgraded fixed ship with 300 laser after a few start of turn events (unconfirmed)
  • Due to the skill self-repair, he's great to use as a decoy, though you're really just saving 100 res each time...
  • Clearing his events allows you to either get his/her HCG or get a +20% bonus to his first slot.
  • Good luck triggering his skill... maybe it's possible with a certain combination of skills if you unlock his other slots using the clear bonus "Love"? Might be hard considering his first slot bonus keeps changing, but if possible, would be quite impressive...

Biography: Although he looks middle aged, he's actually only 20 years old. He was the NEET King of Arabia. After graduating from his virginity, he lost the ability to use magic, but he accepted a position as an admiral in Japan, when Tougou extended it, thinking he was interesting. He shops in Akihabara at least 3 times per week. His greatest concern is the decreasing space in his room. Likes: Banana, Anime. Dislikes: Eroge censorship laws.

  • Goron Eundora is based on a mix of references, one of them to Endou Gorou the protagonist of another AliceSoft game whose design is very similar, another to Genesis Climber MOSPEADA, an 80s anime, which is the source of his line about 'inbits' and his transformations, as well as Black jack, which he refers to in his female form.

Saffron Veda[]

Fighters +0%
Laser +0%

Comments:

  • It takes 5 events to get her +30CP, so this isn't too worth it... You might be interested in getting her 6th event for story purposes, as it is quite major, giving a 2nd HCG, a skill and a CG update... but it requires a Boob Shrine to be built, and the skill doesn't actually do anything, which means there's no reason to do this in a gameplay oriented playthrough...
  • An all-rounder, Saffron isn't really a stand out late game admiral, but she is pretty decent and highly customisable. She's good from the time you get her, which makes her a welcome recruit if you get her early, and she is a fast hitter with her radar/fighter/laser set up, worth leveling with 4% growth, and her 360CP also allows for a good submarine build. She's one of the better Aeris admirals.

Biography: A girl from Indocurry that received a scholarship education from Clione in human resources. She's already been given an excellent position. Alway's calm, except when it comes to improving a certain physical characteristic. Likes antique calculators. Dislikes Poor XXXX

Growth Rate: +6%

Radar +10% Starting ship: CL-County (90HP, 90 radar, 90 laser, 90CP)
Missile +10%
Cannon +10%

Comments:

  • What an event hungry character...
    • He takes 7 events to recruit, and isn't even recruitable if you go for Goron. At least doing Clione's events gets you some cash...
    • If you do his first event after recruitment before Saffron's 6th event, he will leave, so don't do that. Instead, complete Saffron's 6th event (miracle skill obtained) to unlock his character clear. You will then have to do 3 events for his +30CP and a 4th for his skill upgrade
  • After all that trouble... he's essentially an inferior version of Saffron... Theoretically, with his great growth rate and 3 skill slots, he could become a very powerful character, and add onto that his unique Ass Attack, and he can do really high damage... but even if you raise him well, he ends up being awkward since he only has 3 slots, the radar doesn't matter as much with his slow missiles/cannon slots. It's probably better just to use him as a submarine commander, but even like this, his CP isn't enough to really take advantage of aircraft subs in late game. If only he was attainable earlier in the game, he would have been a decent option, as it is, he has an awkward potential that takes too much effort to unlock.
  • He does come with a unique ship though, which are always fun to collect... it's just a 1st generation CL class though...

Biography: A boy from Indocurry who received a scholarship from Clione's human resources company. Having received a terrible shock from being left behind by Clione, he also ended up joining the Japanese navy. His puppy eyes can bring out motherly caring in any woman who lays eyes on him. Likes: cardamom chai. Dislikes: swimming.

Growth rate: +4%

Missile +10% Starts with: DD-Old Style (30HP, 180radar, 30laser, 45CP)

Notes:

  • Will give you a unique ship, CW-Chandler (240HP; 30radar; 240laser; 165CP) once M.Tiger is brought to Peace.
  • The DD-Old style she starts with is actually cheaper than DD-50s, so it's cheaper to repair, and otherwise pretty similar
  • Will leave if you let Malay Tiger's public peace drop below 3 bars twice (each time will have an event).
  • Rasshara is a top class admiral. You get her early, she has a great CP cap, all 4 slots and a good growth rate. In addition, she comes with a ship and gives you another. You have two choices as to how to use her:
    • You can definitely use her as an offensive admiral, and ignore her skill, which is redundant. If so, 390CP allows for good combinations. She can even equip the anemone, though with no room to spare. She makes a good submarine admiral with her cannon bonus even in late game, and also does a good shield+missile/thunder combo. She can even be a decent fighter admiral, though she won't match Eliza/Retia/Gamericans in this domain...
    • If you already have a lot of good admirals for your offensive team, Rasshara also makes a natural fit for defence/rebel suppression... not that rebel suppression is a challenge...

Biography: 20 years old. Leader of the Malay Tiger Liberation League. Rejected Aeris rule for the future of her country and joined forces with Japan. Still maintains the pipes she made as a rebel. Inexperienced at love and peaceful living. Likes playing musical instruments (stringed). Dislikes drunkards (they vomit without warning!)

Stats: +20% Starts with: Umanbo Dark Battleship (45HP, 240 radar, 60 laser, 30 cannon, 15CP)

Comments:

  • As one of the key storyline character, you must recruit her and complete all her events to complete the true endings 1 or 2. Otherwise, she's something of a niche admiral. The 30k resources is a better choice during low turn count games.
  • Great high stats paired with low command points. She's not really that great an admiral.
  • If there's a reason to recruit her other than endings 1 and 2, it's her starting ships. The Umambos cannot be obtained in any other way, and the 3 of them are 15CP ships with very good stats for such low CP.
  • If you want to use her as an admiral, consider the following options:
    • Use her as is with her starting ships
    • Use her as a decoy with PROV (this can be great if you want to include her in invasions but don't want her to be a liability)
    • With her bonuses, she can be very effective with the commemorative ships, like Nubobo or Hurricane, or the Clione fish (Laguri) or Manatee (Rabaul), and the Tange dog works well on her to keep commemorative ship repair costs low.
  • She's not a bad candidate (but also not the best) for the Love clear bonus, as she has all 4 slots with the best "All stats" bonus and desperately needs the CP.

Biography: Brave queen of the dark people of the Kenyan star system. Having fulfilled her desire to overthrow Aeris, she became friends with the Japanese and joined them. Her favourite japanese items are paper lanterns, drums and washboards. Likes: hammocks. Dislikes: rats.

Comments:

Her events only become available after she has participated in one battle.

  • Femu is a really special admiral. Her -50% damage has so many interesting ways to be used, but it can be a liability just as easily as a bonus if you try to deploy her willy nilly.
  • She's great used against UHOS because of the Freezing weather effect. Just calculate the amount needed to take out the enemy CR ship, and the remaining enemies won't be able to do any damage.
  • Similarly, though more situationally, in sandstorms against cannons or aircrafts.
  • In Lucidity, since she counters that weather effect
  • Man Hell is another great effect to use her with, since she and other female admirals are unaffected and any male enemies' attack are nullified
  • This is one of the tactics you can use against Yokozuna or Eazauna
  • Even without weather effects, Femu pairs well with sub or even just DD-Thndr teams.
  • Consider using her and a cannon heavy team against Gamerican aircraft formations since a single AA1 can negate pretty much anything they throw at you
  • If you can't be bothered to find those niche situations where she excels though, Femu can also be pretty decent in defensive battles. Just equip her and her team with maintenance ships and cannons and they should be able to heal whatever damage they take
  • It takes a lot more effort, but Femu is also great if you can calculate her HP so she dies right before a submarine admiral can launch an attack. If you can time it properly, she'll tank beautifully and your admirals can then attack at full power to finish a high HP enemy off.
  • She has an immediate use this way after recruitment against Indo Curry. Indo Curry is a pretty difficult planet for no bonus games because unless you got Hurricane or rushed Plupet, you probably won't have any AL1 ship. This usually makes Hyderabad a candidate for Maki, but you can save Tougou for later if you use Femu. Femu with a single submarine admiral (Doenitz or Tanaka) can take out Hyderabad as long as she has just enough health (should be between 540-600ish to tank the aircraft hit + 4 laser hits over 2 rounds). Between Shibagami for the curry bonus and 5 other admirals, you should be able to take all 4 fields. (Of course, instead of going to all this trouble with Femu or Maki, you could just drop the Aeris Ship bonus, since the Tata A is terrible... Make sure to get the curry bonus though, one of the best in the game.)

Biography: A Vietnamese girl who is an extremely potent rain woman. Even inside a battleship it will occasionally rain around her. Feels responsible when those around her catch colds. Is refreshed by wearing a floral swimsuit. Likes: baguette. Dislikes: soggy baguette.

Shikoku Governor[]

Comments:

  • Don't underestimate this generic-looking fellow, he's actually pretty nice to get. You can get him very early in the game, his radar bonus is flexible if nothing special.
  • Not only does he come with a BB-King Joe I, but raising him to level 5 unlocks his clear event which gives you both his +30CP and the Unebi monster ship (90HP, 240 radar, 90 laser, 180 missile, 90CP), which for 90CP is a CP effective ship, not to mention a neat design.
  • Once cleared, he can equip 4 subs and even rocks an extra bonus with his anti-space monster skill (works like Shibagami's) - note that it will not, however, be effective against the normal disasters (like Nubobo)
  • If you haven't yet cleared him, consider a radar/barrier+laser BB ship, or a barrier+cannons or 2 135CP carriers. He's really much better with fish ships though because of the lower CP combinations.

Biography: "Roar! I'm a monster!" Likes: huge monsters, monsters. Dislikes: Hollywood monsters.

Comments:

  • Ignore his starting ship and potentially useful (but not practically useful) bonuses. You get this guy for his skill. The repair skill is very convenient for PROV decoys, since you can avoid the repair costs and just let him heal up. Remember it stacks with repair ships or buildings, making it doubly useful.

Biography: 31 years old. Former commander in chief of Malay tiger's local army. The Aeris governor continued ignoring his warnings about the Japanese invasion. so he realized it was useless. Now he's a bit relieved. He has emotional scars.

Comments: As one of the few generics who have 360 or more command points and 4 available slots, he's actually pretty useful, as he is flexible to equip. This means he's actually a better fighter admiral than Jakarta, despite lacking the bonuses (but can be equally decent with other damage types)

Biography: 37 years old. Former supreme commander of Vietnam's forces. While commanding the colonial forces he had grown tired of obeying Aeris nobles, so his current situation is refreshing. Determined to defend his homeland.

Comments:

  • For a generic admiral, they have very nice bonuses, particularly since you get them in Aeris where fighter admirals are rare. They also have a good CP cap, so they're as good as many unique admirals.
  • Consider 2x large carriers + a radar/sonar/barrier ship.
  • The CV-Glorious is also a great ship to get early on. It's the same as Borscht's Minsk class carrier, but you can get Parapara at an earlier turn while fighting Aeris. Compared to the CV-X (Japan's gen 2 figher), its stats are better across the board, even with a lower CP cost. (that being said, it's still not as good as the gen 3 carriers, so only useful if you get it very early... and comes with some Aeris design style points!)

Biography: 21 years old. A former Aeris soldier who is single. 3rd daughter of a noble family. Her fiance broke off their arranged marriage. She's obstinate. Tougou was the first to call her cute.

Comments:

  • For one of the hardest, most obscure admirals to get in the game... he's really lacklustre.
    • In fact, considering he's mutually exclusive with Mel to Laden, Montgomery and Parapara who you can get just a few planets away, getting this guy is purely for the lulz, and a terrible gameplay decision...
    • It is, however, worth noting that you can get him and still make it in time to recruit Charlotte from Madarascal.
  • His starting ship is unique, and pretty neat considering the mixed damage, but ultimately loses out compared to similar CL class ships from Gamerica or UHOS.
  • His only practical use is his Frontline Diplomacy skill once the Ultimate Idol route map resets, if you don't want to be distracted by battles on a certain front.

Biography: 118 years old. Claims to have remained young by using the alchemy of curry, but this has not been verified scientifically. He is feeling troubled, since he can't find a curry bath in the officer's dorm.

Dokutsu Third Reich Admirals[]

Theme: Individual geniuses. There's really no consistency among Dokutsu admirals like other nations, but rather each one of them stand out alone in their own niche: Retia with her Gamerica-like big ship customisability, Doenitz with her quick attack submarine uniqueness, Manstein with his cannon defence and Rommel with his high speed. None of them are alike, and all of them are pretty fun to use in their own niche. Even the less iconic admirals seem to follow this theme.

Retia Adolf[]

Retia-portrait

Retia Adolf (c)アリスソフト

How to obtain: Accept the triple alliance. Do not save Dokutsu. Finish Ermi Doenitz's two events before Dokutsu falls, then allow Doenitz to return to Berlin. After rescuing Retia, do Retia's 2 events involving Tanaka Raizou. Then do Doenitz's event, which unlocks Retia's recruitment event.
Command Points: 540 (570)

Radar +0%
HP +0%

Comments:

  • She has the third highest Command Points after Hanny the Admiral and Itou-kakka (technically Shibagami and some others have higher, but they can't use it because of fixed ships).
  • While Retia Adolf has no ability and lower ship slot stats than some admirals, her huge amount of command points allow for a great deal of versitality.
  • She may be outfitted to suit various situations—such as weather conditions and tough enemy formations. Her only real downside is having no inherent skills, as even her slot bonuses are very good for a high CP commander.
  • With her high CP and her all stat bonus, she is a great candidate for the Habatoto prize ship, if you go for it.
  • A great candidate for the Love Clear Bonus

Biography: The third reich of Dokutsu's Fuhrer and idol having recovered from the loss of her country, she has joined the Japanese military and is helping them to try create a perfect world. Her commemorative coins have set world records. Likes putting honey in hot drinks. Dislikes embarrassing costumes

Recommended fleet formations:

x9 aircraft carrier
x9 aircraft carrier
Radar ship
x4 aircraft carrier

The most powerful carrier fleet in Daiteikoku, the radar ship giving it a decent radar range while the 3 carriers give it an enormous firepower. At 570 command points, she can exchange the x4 carrier for an x9 carrier... if you need 1632 fighter damage for some reason...

Ermi Doenitz[]

Daiteikoku-Ermi

Ermi Doenitz (c)アリスソフト

How to obtain: Sign the tri-pact with Italin and Dokutsu. 2 turns later she will join.
Command Points: 360 (390)
Skill: None
Growth rate: +4%

Stats: +30% (+60%) Fixed ship: U-boat Falkensee (90HP, 120 radar, 60 laser, 120 missile, 120CP, Dive: untargetable with allies)

No bonus Starts with: U-boat type VII (30HP, 180 radar, 180 cannon, 75CP, Dive: untargetable with allies)
No bonus

Comments:

  • Her removable U-boats are weaker than even the initial Japanese submarines, but also obtained earlier. Consider replacing them when the first Japanese subs are researched and you can spare the resources for replacements.
  • Consider equipping them to Tanaka Raizou until you get better subs
  • Her locked ship is unique (in all routes except Ultimate Idol, see VTVN) in that it is a submarine ship with laser (only certain fish units have this) and missile attacks (only some Dokutsu ships have this)
  • Because of her laser and missile payloads, the lantern fish is a good choice on her, particularly in early game, for its radar boost
  • After an event the bonus will be upgraded to "All stats +60%." This gives her a significant boost, if not enough to make her as good as other commanders with at least 300 Command Points and better bonus/abilities
  • Although her mid game is weak, with 390CP after clearing Adolf, she can equip 2 type 400 carrier submarines. Along with her improved first slot ship and a jellyfish, she has a pretty good late game with 600 aircraft, 150 lasers, 240 missiles which give her 3 pre-cannon attacks per battle phase

Biography: An admiral that was sent to provide technical assistance after becoming allies with the third reich of Dokutsu. Confused by Japanese culture, but will do her best for Adolf's sake. The Japanese really like girls wearing glasses. Likes: studying, hull maintenance. Dislikes: wasabi

Eisen Manstein[]

MansteinPortrait

Eisen Manstein (c)アリスソフト

How to obtain: A start of turn event will occur after the Soviet counterattack against Dokutsu begins. He will attack Chernob after the white hole ends, as a 'reeducated' UHOS admiral. Destroy his fleet to capture. You must then recruit and complete Retia Adolf's 2nd event, then you can do his recruitment.
Command points: 450 (480)

Growth rate: +2%

Stats +30% Fixed ship: Adolf (360HP, 210 radar, 390 laser, 180CP)
HP +0%

No bonus

Comments:

  • His first event that appears after capturing him doesn't do anything. Just ignore it until you can do Retia's 2nd event and it will automatically update to his recruitment
  • He has a great CP cap, and one of the better fixed ships paired with a great first slot bonus, so he's very much worth using. The fixed ship is decent even into the late game, similar to (but not quite as much as) Sarah
  • He also comes with a unique skill that complements his 2nd slot bonus, but is rather hard to use effectively
  • One use case is in sandstorms, since the pairing of his skill+the sandstorm condition causes enemy cannon damage to be nullified completely.
  • Alternatively, just think of him as an all-round defence, since you can give him HP and various shield ships for other types of damage, and still have cannon damage reduction
  • Otherwise, just use him for his laser damage and try to buff his radar somewhat.

Biography: 38 years old. An old school Dokutsu soldier known as the gray steel bear. After being defeated by the UHOS he was brainwashed to side with them but recovered after reuniting with adolf. Considering applying for secretary of akiba tech. Likes Touring castles. Dislikes lazy people.

El Rommel[]

Best

El Rommel (c)アリスソフト

How to obtain: Available on all routes except Ultimate Idol. Wait until after Dokutsu has fallen (no regions left). Attack North Africa and eliminate the fleet to the extreme left to rescue Rommel, then talk to him to recruit.
Command points: 420 (450)
Skill: None
Growth rate: +2%

Stats +0% Starting ship: Number 1 (60HP, 120 radar, 120 laser, 105CP)
Stats +0%
Radar +20%
Radar +20%

Comments:

  • Rommel is specialized for radar. He has two strong radar bonuses and two all stat bonuses making him very flexible that make him very flexible with his 420CP cap.
  • He also comes with a unique option to unlock a special Rommel battleship to research and build (180HP, 480 radar, 360 laser, 135CP)
  • Despite the low laser power compared to other late game ships... this ship is better considered a type of pocket battleship with its 135CP cost, and additionally has a really strong radar value, fitting very neatly with El Rommel's strong points. As such, it's comparable to 6th gen ships, for its flexibility and speed, while still bringing good laser power to the table.
  • Consider using 2 of his special ships along with another BB class ship to give him high laser high speed. Or, another way to use him is simply to make him into a carrier admiral, considering his CP and bonuses all work well for that too. He's even stand out as a submarine admiral, so he's very easy to use as you need.

Biography: 24 years old. The young field marshal nicknamed the desert fox. was rescued from an Aeris POW camp and joined the Japanese military. His Calico colored hair isn't a fashion statement, its a sign of nordic viking blood. Likes: board games. Dislikes: hidden intentions.

Trieste Stettin[]

Daiteikoku-Stettin

Trieste Stettin (c)アリスソフト

How to obtain: After the map splits in Ultimate Idol, an event where Manstein disagrees with Himmler and gets executed will occur. Trieste's recruitment event will then be available. There might be a condition of seeing Manstein's events in UHOS before you rescue Dokutsu (unconfirmed). If you quickly blitz Ultimate Idol, you can actually complete the route before she would appear, so if you want to recruit her, take it easy.
Command points: 360 (390)

Growth Rate: +2%

Stats +30% Starting ship: BB-Gneisenau (360HP, 90 radar, 360 laser, 180CP)
HP +20%

No bonus

Comments:

  • You must deploy her once to unlock her event to get her skill, Revenge. Although Revenge is quite specifically for use against Dokutsu... you get her in Ultimate Idol, so it's the same as getting a permanent +10% boost, making it a very decent skill.
  • She has 2 more events to get her +30CP and HCG. However, you have to deploy her twice before each event, so make sure you save enough planets to invade for after you recruit her.
  • She has pretty decent CP and pretty decent slot bonuses, and unlike some other Dokutsu admirals, she doesn't have a fixed ship, so she can fulfil any role you need. Overall, she's a great character if you're playing Ultimate Idol casually and haven't gotten your main team together already. Her only real issue is that she comes so late...
  • Her starting ship is identical in stats to Japan's BB-80, so it's nothing special. Still, it's a Dokutsu design, and it's not fixed, so it's fun to use.

Biography: 22 years old. Stiff, cold and fastidious. She is the tactician known as the iron woman. Unable to forgive the death of her beloved Manstein, she is determined to fight against Dokutsu. The first Japanese snack she received was grilled katayaki. Likes: baumkuchen (tree cake). Dislikes: rodents.

VTVN[]

Daiteikoku-VTVN-2

VTVN (c)アリスソフト

How to obtain: He can be captured in two different places after entering the Ultimate Idol route: a) when he attacks Chicago X from Washington or b) when he attacks USJ from Chicago X. Then complete his first event.
Command points: 390 (420)
Skill: None
Growth Rate: +2%

Laser +10% Starting ship: U-Boat Type XXI (150HP, 180 radar, 90 laser, 180 missile, 120CP, Dive)
Missile +10%
Cannon +10%
Radar -30%

Comments:

  • The most noteworthy thing about VTVN is his unique starting ship, which is a mixed laser/missile damage sub, like Doenitz's fixed ship. It's definitely worth getting, if only for the flexibility of mixed damage it can give you for submarines.
  • As an admiral, he has a typical mixed damage set up. In comparison with Koga, he'll have slightly better bonuses for his first 3 slots but lower CP and that pesky radar negative. This largely makes him redundant when you get him...
  • If you choose to use him, you might want to try sticking to his submarine theme, where he's meant as a mixed damage submarine admiral, like Doenitz. It's pretty satisfying to see him with his flagship in the 2nd slot, a lantern fish for the radar/laser (or serpent for more laser), 1x cannon and 1x 6th gen carrier sub. This comes to exactly 390CP, meaning you don't even have to clear him, and takes full advantage of his slot bonuses.
  • He's likely the most practical of the 4 Dokutsu admirals from Ultimate Idol route, since you can get him quite quickly and he has strong bonuses.

Biography: 44 years old. An artist and inventor. He is Adolf's tutor, but until Adolf truly blossomed, he himself was known as Dokutsu's greatest genius. Seeing as his charge has strayed from her path, VTVN joined the Japanese navy to set her straight. Currently composing the symphony "Daiteikoku". Likes: music, astronomy. Dislikes: cleaning his room.

Comments:

  • For a generic, she's pretty good, Roar would have made her wonderful... if only you didn't recruit her near the end of the run. Then again, considering the time limit, Roar can actually make her practically useful, since you can get her to the front lines quickly, unlike Wirbelwind or Trieste.
    • In addition to that, you will recruit her at level 9, so she'll already be near capped.
  • Her starting ship is pretty solid. 300 radar and 300 laser for just 105CP. It's a 4th generation CL class ship, plus you get a unique Dokutsu design.
  • She has pretty decent CP and a strong radar bonus. Use her as a high speed attacker, similarly to Ozawa (radar ship, lasers, or subs are probably the way to go)

Biography: 19 years old. Formerly a Dokutsu admiral, single. She has that serious expression of Dokutsu people, but is surprisingly clumsy. Thanks to Adolf's economic reforms, she was able to graduate from school, so she has always felt grateful.

  • Her name comes from the the motorcycle used by German troops in World War II, the Sd. Kfz. 2, or the Kettenkrad. Her having Roar and being based around speed is also reference to this.

Comments:

  • Her 'Self-made Air Defense' skill gives her -50% damage from Fighters , similarly to Unagi's laser defence. Although this would generally be a game breaking skill, it's not necessarily of much use vs Dokutsu. A genius Wirbelwind is... but one with few uses... If only there was an FFA mode...
  • Give her an AA2 and pair her with submersible admirals for the final battles where you might find some aircraft heavy enemy formations. As a plus, since levelling her is irrelevant, you can keep her for those specific battles.
  • Her starting ship is identical to a 4th generation CL-80, worth getting only for the dokutsu design.

Biography: 26 years old. Ex-Dokutsu military. Single. As the female officer who had the highest performance in shooting, she was admired and feared at her military college. Loves beer... but is plastered after 2 pints.

  • Her name is a reference to the German anti-aircraft gun, the Wirbelwind.

Comments:

  • Muccilini has identical CP, slot bonuses and growth to Nagumo. The only thing that's different is that she has Peace instead of EDU.
  • Considering she comes near the end of an Aeris conquest, Peace is actually pretty decent if you got her early on. Use her for her skill, and keep her out of the front lines. In a pinch, she can do defensive or disaster battles.
  • One notable feature of Muccilini is that she will let you recruit 4 admirals from her 3rd event (but the piggies aren't very useful either, and you have to sortie her in battle a couple times).
  • It's a shame she comes with no Italin ship...

Biography: 20 years old. Leader and idol of the Itarin republic. Was chased from her position and confined to a small village, but was living there happily. Joined japan after a scout found her. Specializes in risotto and character bento. Likes: cooking, rice cakes. Dislikes: thunder.

Comments:

  • Yuri comes with all 4 slots filled, giving you a bunch of unique ships. Additionally, her Italin ships have slightly higher Radar than other ships of the same generation, though they are unfortunately 2nd generation which makes them not so useful at this point.
  • She is somewhat similar to Quattro, with a high radar+vanguard+all stats combo, but has much more CP, but an admittedly weaker fixed ship

Biography: An Italin admiral that is a descendant of the holy roman empire that preceded it. Had a headache due to muccillini's ridiculous regime. Relieved now that she has joined japan. Wants to contact her relatives. Out of touch with romance. Likes Appreciating paintings. Dislikes taking naps.

Biography: 18 years old. Used to be an admiral in the Italin navy's Black Bikini Squad. Although she isn't the best at commanding ships, none are better when it comes to reciting Pi. That being said, she doesn't know what to do with the knowledge of so many digits of Pi... She's a big fan of Japanese food with a bit of added tomato sauce.

Felipe Espana[]

Command Points: 390 (420)
Skill: Lady killer (女殺し) - +10% damage when attacking female commanders

Comments:

  • A decent admiral, but by the time you get him he's outclassed, most of the time.
  • As its a 3rd generation battleship, the King Joe III might still be fairly useful if you went Aeris first.

Biography: 27 years old. Lord of the Kingdom of Espana. Beat Rosa in a lover's quarrel and is now enjoying life as a chauvinistic husband. Doesn't care if the girls he hits on might already be in a relationship with Tougou, and the number of Japanese women he beds will soon hit the triple digits. Likes: bullfighting, beautiful women. Dislikes: reflecting on things.

Comments:

  • Identical to Felipe, except with the reverse skill. However, whereas Felipe is 1 of 5 admirals with Lady Killer, Rosa is 1 of 3 with Man Slayer, and Hanitora is better off not getting it, while Fukuhara can only be obtained in Japanification, so Rosa is marginally more valuable than her husband.
  • Even the 4 events it takes to unlock their +30CP is the same number.

Biography: 26 years old. Wife of Espana's ruler. After winning their lover's quarrel she made him reflect on his behaviour, and now they are trying to find new developments in their relationship. Her and Keiko are popular as big sister types. Her cooking classes are also popular. Likes: coffee. Dislikes: pushover men.

Aztec Empire[]

Theme: great barriers. Don't use lasers against them... And look at those AL3 ships on Nozomi. The only other recruitable has nothing to do with barriers though, and is a building related bonus character, so should just be thought of separately.

Nozomi Takeda[]

Daiteikoku-Nozomi

Nozomi Takeda (c)アリスソフト

How to obtain: Occupy Amazon and do her events in the event phase until her h-scene. After a few turns, her recruitment event will appear. The events will expire after a while, so you should do them quickly after conquering Amazon if you want her.
Command Points: 0
Skill: Goddess - Recovers 40% of maximum HP every turn instead of 10%.
Growth rate: +4%

Stats: +60% Fixed ship: Haniwa GR (90HP, 360 radar, 120 laser, 0CP, Great Barrier: laser damage -900)
Stats: +60% Fixed ship: Haniwa GR (90HP, 360 radar, 120 laser, 0CP, Great Barrier: laser damage -900)

Notes:

  • Dual super barriers make her practically immune to any laser attacks save for a few space disasters and cheap to repair. Field her against laser heavy armies. She has subpar damage though, and not customizable at all.
    • As is, she's actually pretty useful in Ultimate Idol route, since you'll be up against a lot of laser heavy formations.
  • Using the "Love" clear bonus on her will unlock her 2nd Haniwa ship (but not the 1st), allowing you to equip other admirals with the 0CP AL3 ship. This is already great enough to make Nozomi a strong Love Clear Bonus candidate all on its own.
    • You can make this even more worthwhile by duplicating the AL3 ship using Shibagami and Alps. This can get you up to 4 copies of 0CP AL3 ship to use on any of your admirals.
    • Nozomi herself will get a boost to her All Stats slots but only the 90CP to play with. Still, with up to +120% all stats on her second free slot, AL3, 3 free slots, she's also pretty decent, not to mention it's Nozomi.
  • The main reasons not to give Nozomi Love would be the same reasons you might not want to recruit her at all... She is stuck in Amazon, locked behind 3 events and a delay. If you can't get her relatively early on, then Alps or Shibagami's duplication trick might also have already been done. If you want to Love Nozomi, do a Gamerica first run.

Biography: A Japanese girl that was being worshipped by the Aztecs. Became an admiral after the hannies lost interest now that she isn't a virgin. Wanted to quickly start wearing Japanese uniforms but rumor is there's a conspiracy to prevent that. Likes: tofu miso soup. Dislikes: aztec divination.

Hanny The Admiral[]

Command points: 960
Skill: None
Growth rate: +6%

Stats -90%
Stats -90%
Stats -90%
Stats -90%

Comments:

  • Hanny The Admiral has 960 command points, which puts him far above the second highest, Itou Kakka, with 570, and the 3rd place Retia with 540 (570 when cleared) (Technically, Shibagami/Mikado also have 960... but their fixed ship is a ridiculous cost and can't be removed with the Love bonus, so they don't really count...)
  • Between his CP and no fixed ship, Hanny is... still good despite those slot minuses... if only it didn't take all 5 Eroge companies to recruit him...
  • Considering the difficulty recruiting him, the fact you only get him late game, and then have to level him to reduce those slot penalties, he's... well, still useful for the secret bosses, like Ghost Hanny (Amazon) and Gawatsgar Vu (Shikkoku), but little else. Provided you aren't going for the hidden bosses... he's not worth it.
  • That being said, it is tons of fun to use a Kaneda+Battleship+Large carrier+Cannon ship... Or the Sumo ship + 2 battleships and a radar ship... the flexibility he has is dreamy.

Biography: A hanny that volunteered after being inspired by the army that supports humble eroge companies. By a freak coincidence he was selected to live in the women's dorm. Looking forward to it.

Northern Colonies[]

Theme: The vikings are essentially chaotic. They all have mixed but low damage, they feel rough but also somewhat domineering. Aelfhild definitely takes on those aspects in her slot bonuses and skill.

Ælfhild[]

Daiteikoku-Ælfhild

Ælfhild (c)アリスソフト

How to obtain: A few turns after she's introduced, she'll randomly attack one of your territories (the algorithm chooses a territory that is not bordering an enemy planet - so if you don't have many planets, she'll often appear in Chun). Annihilate her entire force (if there's even one survivor, she won't be captured and attack again later) to capture her. If you fail to capture her on the first turn she appears, you can do so on the following turn (she'll disappear after 2 attacks). After capturing her, talk to her twice to recruit.
Command points: 330 (360)
Skill: Massive Rampage 大あばれ - Peace level of the planet she's stationed at will not recover whatsoever (same effect as Higuchi)
Growth rate: 4%

Laser +40% Fixed ship: Pirate Ship Elfhilda (240HP, 45 radar, 300 laser, 180CP)
Laser +20%
Missile +20%
Cannon +20%

Comments:

  • Note that if you do not defeat her when she attacks 2-3 times, you will, instead, unlock an event to research the Pink Hippopotamus ship. The Pink Hippo is similar to a BB-50, but is equippable for 150CP instead of 180CP
  • Fairly powerful admiral with 3 types of bonuses. Because her fixed ship takes 180CP, however, you only have 150 CP left, which makes them hard to use effectively.
  • Because of her skill, she's unfortunately best relegated to defence. That being said, the fixed ship makes her cheap to repair, so she's convenient to have in a defensive team.

Biography: Pirate who was previously the nordic union's princess. Was hard at work as a pirate when she was captured by the Japanese military, and the vile pervert Tougou made her a sex slave (her side of the story). Her legend will continue to grow in the future.

Soap Kingdom[]

Theme: mirror. We don't even fight Soap, just monsters occupying their kingdom, while there is only one recruitable. Mel, it is safe to say, embodies a unique chameleon mechanic though, which also seems to be a motif in related events.

Mel To Laden[]

Daiteikoku-Laden

Mel To Laden (c)アリスソフト

How to obtain: Conquer Turkey once they become hostile (after taking over Suez). Autojoins after that (no need to talk).
Command Points: 450 (480)
Skill: COPY - Copies and obtains the skills of the general stationed in the same planet
Growth rate: +6%

Stats -50%
Stats -50%
Stats -50%
Stats -50%

Comments:

  • Her Soap Empire is actually not hostile, Turkey is just overrun with monsters spawned by the "Forbidden Box". War against Turkey begins when she requests you to destroy the monsters and the box.
  • Mel is a growth admiral. Like Katherin or Tanaka, she will be very weak at early levels, but Mel has the potential to become the very best admiral in the game. Even at early levels, despite the negative slots, Mel is pretty flexible with 450 starting CP.

Her cheat like potential lies in her skill, which copies an ally's skill, so you'll need to get allies with those cheat-like skills to make full use of her. The best options are:

  • Tougou's Supreme Art of War
  • Unagi's Electric Barrier
  • Katherin or Mirja's Friends
  • Yubari's AI controlled ship
  • Blackhorse's Spirit
  • Shikoku gov's Monster PHD (against space monsters only...)
  • Wirlbelwind's Self Air Defence (just not many places to use it in Ultimate Idol...)
  • To get the skill you want on her, station her with the admiral with the relevant skill until she copies the skill and then isolate her from other admirals until the attack. Her skill will be locked in and won't revert back to COPY until you station her with someone else.
  • With high command points, she is one of the few admirals who can equip 3 carriers effectively.
  • In addition to all the above, Mel unlocks one of the best ships in the game, the Thousand Year Jelly As (150HP, 45 radar, 540 fighter, 225CP, AM1: -300 missile damage) if you clear her before defeating Kanada.
  • It is possible to then duplicate the jellyfish using Shibagami or Alps, though as it is high CP, you will need to equip other low cost ships for the other positions
  • Mel is one of the best candidates for the Love Clear Bonus. In fact, with Love at level 10, Mel's hands down the strongest admiral you can get in the game (Mikado with Fugaku+Yokozuna+2x BB/big carriers is arguably better but only has 3 battles)... As Mel has All Stats bonuses in all 4 slots, Love makes them positive at level 7 instead of 9, and caps her out at +30% at level 10, instead of just +10%. 570CP will put her in top tier CP category, and then you can customize her skill as described above. Great option to consider, particularly if you're gunning for the hidden bosses (Ghost Hanny, Nigayomogi, Gawatsgar Vu).

Biography: Leader of the soap empire. With the destruction of the forbidden box, the monster attacks in the turkey system stopped, giving her the chance to come to japan. She's searching space to find out who she is. Her favourite jelly is soda jelly. Likes: soda jelly and starry skies. Dislikes: Ulro (steamed cake)

Yuan[]

Theme: Only one recruitable here too, but both Coyote and Yuan as a whole have the theme of cannon damage. Tanaka would fit right at home here.

Coyote Mararu[]

Cannon +10% Starts with: Horse-Riding 騎馬艦 (120HP, 240 radar, 240 cannon, 75CP)

Comments:

  • Like Tanaka Raizou, she is a Cannon focused character with Roar. Unfortunately, due to her first locked slot, she is unable to be used as a submarine commander (can't remove it even with Love)
  • One of her events increases Raizou's command points.
  • Due to her high growth rate and strong cannon slots, it is advisable to use the 2nd slot for a barrier or other radar focused ship, as you probably won't need that much cannon damage.

Biography: A girl from the nation of nomads that suddenly disappeared. While she's been trying to learn the whereabouts of her missing khan she suspects she won't find him. whichever team she is on will win the next athletic meet, so she is being lobbied. Likes: khoomii (overtone singing). Dislikes: wolves.

Kingdom of O'France[]

Theme: underdogs. As enemies, O'France is just a joke... but Charlotte and her skill give her great potential against those stronger than her, which is pretty neat.

Charlotte Partheney[]

Daiteikoku-Charlotte-Parthenay

Charlotte Partheney (c)アリスソフト

How to obtain: You must a) be on Japanification plan, b) saved Dokutsu (conditions for Ultimate Idol) c) seen the event where Charlotte is brought away by O'France soldiers, d) conquer Madarascal before the map updates for Ultimate Idol. Note that this will not be possible if Dokutsu conquers Paris (thus also conquering Madarascal), so you must save Dokutsu before Aeris retakes Paris.

Skill: (After events) Birume- +1% Damage for every 10 HP under the target enemy (maximum +100%).
Stats Growth: +6%

Attack -50%
Attack -50%
Attack -50%

Comments:

  • After her 2nd event, put her in battle and she gains 30 Command Points and the Birume Skill (Birume, the name of her skill, is Birume Miya, the buxom cat woman who appears in Madarascal)
  • Doing her 4th and 5th events also raise her Command Points by 30 each, bringing her to a still sub-par 240.
  • A strong candidate for the "Love" clear bonus, as you can bring her up to 330CP, and maximise her skill's potential, and also unlock her 4th slot.
  • The All Damage is actually a perfect slot bonus for her, since it won't affect her HP, as an All Stat bonus would have. Like Mel, Charlotte with Love will gain positive slots at level 7 instead of 9, and cap out at +30% all damage, which is very strong, particularly since she can then multiply it by 2.
  • Birume can be a very good skill, essentially functioning like Katherine's 'Friends', another Love clear bonus candidate who cannot be recruited on Ultimate Idol route. You can take greater advantage of the +100% damage by having 330CP, making her a potentially great admiral.
  • Note Charlotte, like Katherine, is only useful if you focus on levelling her. Make sure to deploy her as much as possible with an admiral with EDU (as you can't get both Charlotte and Goepe, this means Nagumo or cleared Isabelle)
  • As she is only available in Ultimate Idol, her shining moment of glory is against the space monster Zalamander, using 4 subs. She can do double damage, dealing over 4000 damage in one hit. Otherwise, or without Love, you might want to consider farming some Cliones from Laguri to arm her with low HP fighter damage for low CP cost.

Biography: 21 years old. A representative of the previous king of O'France. Although she has grown up in obliviousness to the duties of aristocrats of her heritage, she has begun to develop an appreciation of her responsibilities after being saved by Birume during the revolt. Now that she has become an admiral in the Japanese navy, she puts all her efforts towards learning her new role.

Pluepet Mercenaries[]

Theme: Single damage sale. You get what you pay for: lasers or missiles.

Visber[]

Daiteikoku-Visber

Visber (c)アリスソフト

How to obtain: After doing the colourless event 'The Contact', Pluepet's events will eventually appear. Note that you will need sufficient RES else they will not appear. Visber or Alps can be recruited either in the first event, or the third event, if you didn't select them the first time (the second event luxury yacht, is for a choice of 2 AL ships). Note that if you declined the Triple Alliance, an extra Pluepet event will occur before you can recruit Visber/Alps.
Command Points: 270 (300)
Skill: None
Growth rate: +2%

Laser + 70%
Laser + 10%

Comments:

  • You must complete all her events before you deploy her in a 10th offensive battle, otherwise, she will leave.
  • Has strong laser slot bonuses right from recruitment, making her an easy admiral to use effectively.
  • As her first slot has a much higher bonus than the next 2, it's advisable to put a high laser battleship in the first slot, while using 1 of the two remaining slots for a defensive/radar/sonar ship.

Biography: A mercenary hired through the Pluepet trading company. Just wants to save up money by doing various things, but she's frequently idle. Due to her losses, she has to give up her downtown apartment (family type) in japan. Likes money making ideas. Dislikes bread crusts.

Comments:

  • You must complete all her events before you deploy her in a 10th battle, otherwise, she will leave.
  • If her events are completed successfully, she will still leave after the assorted amount of battle participations, but return after a few turns.
  • You need to let her get destroyed 3 times during offensive battles (each time a scene will occur during which she loses more and more clothing) in order to get her final event, which makes it harder to clear her. Also, if she is destroyed too many times, she will leave prematurely.
  • As Alps focuses on missiles, she is a bit harder to use than Visber... However, it's still worth getting her first if you are looking to use the duplication trick.
  • The best options for the duplication trick are the commemorative ships, particularly the nubobo, the colony ship, Mel's jellyfish, the stronger casablanca, Mau Mau's starting ships or Nozomi's AL3 ship (if you use Love on Nozomi)

Biography: A mercenary hired through the purupet trading company. Working hard to raise money for her sick mother and younger brothers. she's been to 8 post offices across the universe and the people at the windows always tell her to marry their sons. Likes analog mail service. Dislikes trading company employment regulations.

  • The only admiral other than Manstein who has cannon damage reduction... how useful this is is debatable.
  • As one of Mikado's maids, her dress will actually update to a new CG after you complete the Japanization route start of turn event where the maids get new clothing (Purely aesthetic change).
  • Her unique skill isn't really that great, nor is the 300 HP. If you're using custom admirals, they will outshine her.
  • That being said, she can be useful early game. The radar is actually pretty decent early in the game where fish ships or standard ships often put you just below the speed you need to make them useful. Regardless, she'll fall off later in the game...
  • She's also a trump card if you can isolate the Universe Locusts in a Sandstorm. With AL2 she nullifies all attacks, letting submarine admirals easily finish the locusts off.

Biography: Same age as Mikado. Has been serving as a low ranking maid for 2 years, but when outside the palace, she is actually a high society heir with her own bodyguard. She was picked to be a spokeswoman for Daiteikoku because of her skills personally gathering intel and because she worries about Mikado. She loves Mikado a bit too much.

  • Still fairly useful to have around, since they are flexible and don't rely on levels, meaning they can be quite useful as a peace force if a disaster shows up near them.

Comments:

  • It's Goebbels with a wig, but she doesn't have any events, which is a shame...
  • Her skill is great, (the same as Tougou at the start) and stacks with his. Her CP cap is also decent, and her slot bonus is great.
  • But... having only 1 slot is a major pain, because it makes her really fragile. Try:
  • A battleship, especially barrier ships or the first super battleship, Yamato (at exactly 360 command points)
  • A submarine, which will allow her to stay safe from attacks.
  • A fish ship that is cheap to repair (Boss or Aoxotl are both decent picks, because of their high damage and Aoxotl's AM1)
  • She's one of the best candidates for the Love clear game bonus (assuming you're not going for Endings 1/2):
  • With 4 unlocked slots, a CP cap of 450, +70% all stats in her first slot at level 10 and her skill (which does +87% when combined with her first slot for her first slot damage), she is immediately powerful and pretty decent even in late game.
  • She will fall off in late game though, so it's better to save it for someone else if you're planning to do the hidden bosses. In the end, Hapsburg Lady doesn't have anything that Tougou can't do better. Still, she's one of the best candidates since you can get her at start of game and she's immediately powerful, while by mid-game, the value of Love's bonus drops off, since you get good admirals anyway.
  • Even in late game, her skill is still valuable (+10% is more damage on late game firepower) and she'll have the CP to equip 3 fighter submarines, which, with her first slot bonus, makes her a force to contend with

Biography: 23 years old. It is unknown whether this mysterious beauty is friend or foe. It's hard to put the suit on so it may take a while for her to come after calling her. Likes: Adolf a bit too much.
