About[]

Aladdin is the genie of a magical golden oil lamp who grants wishes to people. He appears in two games: Kichikuou Rance and Big Bang Age.

Appearance[]

Aladdin appears as a blue and incredibly muscular man with a single black braid for hair and a short black beard.

In Kichikuou Rance, he wears two gold bracelets around his arms and a gold ring around his stomach. He also has long red fingernails. He's always seen in a cloud of smoke which obscures his lower half.

In Big Bang Age, he wears gold earrings, gold arm bracelets and two black wrist bracelets. He has a loud, booming voice and always appears in a cloud of smoke saying "Aye aye sir!".

In Kichikuou Rance[]

In Kichikuou Rance, whoever is in possession of Aladdin's lamp may make up to 10 wishes. The wish count does not reset when the lamp changes hands, and once 10 wishes are made Aladdin will enter a 100-year sleep, after which the 10 wishes will be recharged. He can fight but he's not very strong since his magic power is mostly used for granting wishes and not for battle.

Known owners of Aladdin, and their wishes:

Known wishes that cannot be performed by Aladdin:

  • World domination
  • A body that does not age and is immortal
  • A body that does not require sleep

In Big Bang Age[]

In Big Bang Age, Aladdin is not seen granting any wishes even though he supposedly can. Instead, he primarily exists for fighting purposes. Little is known about the rules regarding Aladdin's wishes, if there are any. His only known master is Cleo Aripa.

His ability is to blow a powerful gust of wind, which deals fixed damage and is not that accurate, but grants the user a pre-emptive strike and gives them perfect evasion during the attack, preventing counter-attack damage.

Trivia[]

  • Aladdin is a reference to Aladdin's Wonderful Lamp, although the Aladdin from that story refers to the human protagonist and not the magical genie. The appearance of the genie is more particularly taken from the Disney adaptation from 1992.
  • In Kichikuou Rance, Aladdin is seen granting wishes and is not good for fighting. Strangely, in Big Bang Age, Aladdin is the exact opposite.
  • Interestingly, there's one thing that ties all of Aladdin's owners together: dolls. in Kichikuou Rance, Descoco wishes for wooden dolls to be enchanted and serve him. Rance wishes a wooden doll to life. And in Big Bang Age, Aladdin suggests to Cleo, who wishes for friends, that she should construct dolls so they can be her friends.
